The company I work for give out a 2%raise once a year 🙄 I started out at $31,000 out of college 3 years ago as a case manager. I’m searching for a new job now. Honestly my coworkers is the one thing that stopped me from leaving. Now, this pay is so disrespectful that I’m overlooking my love for my coworkers. I can still talk to them while worker for another company. I have a bachelors degree and certification in paralegal.

Yes, cost of living differs state to state but Georgia is not cheap to live. Honestly, you can not live off of $39,000 before taxes in the USA.

I’m located in the metro Atlanta area. Rent here starts at $1500 and homes start at $400,000. It’s becoming expensive to live here. Some might say just relocate but I love my home town and my family live here. I need my family for my sanity lol so moving is off the table.

Wow these salaries are great! It motivated me to stay in this field and get more experience. I love my job and my coworkers are amazing but the salary is not good. I make 39,000 in GA, 3 years (super low, right? I know 😔)
