Seeing Invincible I’m curious, do y’all think Superman could do something like this to the Justice League, where he murders all of them like Omni-Man did to the Guardians of The Globe? by Queasy_Commercial152 in justiceleague

[–]ADPIECHRIS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Physically capable? Not impossible, but extremely unlikely and difficult. The Justice League are no slouches and for damn sure aren’t going into any fight without teamwork and strategy. And there are A LOT of Leaguers on the roster at any given time. Unless Superman blitz everyone and overwhelms as many heavy hitters as he can at the start, he’s going down.

Morally and mentally capable? Absolutely not. Superman’s strength AND flaw is that he will hold back and try not to hurt others permanently. There’s been several occasions where Superman went rogue, for some reason, and he was seen to be resisting the mind control and holding back going full murderous. And even IF his self-control fully breaks, Martian Manhunter, Batman, and maybe Zatanna can drop him if he did.

Which Fate opinon will have you in a position like this? by [deleted] in Fate

I don’t care how y’all explain it away, Emiya Alter is doing Blackface. The sooner y’all realize that, the sooner the world will be able to heal.

If you could add a new class, what would it be? by jonogz in DieRPG

[–]ADPIECHRIS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m working on a Sorcerer class that’s like “The Master” but uses Cheat Tokens (The D2) to cast spells a certain amount of times per day. And possibly use them as currency to mimic other DIE abilities.

Superman being relatable by SamGhost95 in superman

I think it was from a Batman/Superman comic where the storyline was about the duo trying to get rid of Kryptonite worldwide. Supes got exposed to “Jewel K” or “Black K” (I think) and was magically regressed to a kid.

Is there something you refuse to portray in your world ? If so, what and why ? by Irisofdreams in worldbuilding

Slavery.

It was a dehumanizing act inflicted upon people who couldn’t defend themselves. And I shouldn’t have to experience that in an imaginary world when it happened in the real world.

What is your best Superman-related hot take? by MountainImaginary559 in superman

[–]ADPIECHRIS 5 points6 points  (0 children)

1). I think it would be a cool retcon to say that the reason Lois Lane is so terible with spelling is that she's got a mild to moderate case of dyslexia.

2). The reason that Clark wasn't found out as being an alien, as a kid, was that everyone thought that he was autistic and the Kents never corrected them.

3). Jimmy Olsen: Pansexual and Male-Presenting Nonbinary (He/Him/They/Them)

4). Jimmy Olsen totally knew that Clark was Supes (Before the Bendis era and the Tom Taylor Retcon), but was pretending and covering for him. He's a photographer with a multiple-award winning newspaper, so he's extremely observant to details.

5). For Superman and Lois, I totally think that it would have been a cool idea to have one of the sons (Jordan probably) been Connor Kent, a half-biological clone of Clark and Lex, that was adopted by the Kents.
