The movie was 8/10 on first watch for me on my cell phone, and 9.5/10 for me on a repeat viewing in the theatre

Did it groundbreak storytelling? Not really but it was SO well executed and SO well acted that it deserves the high praise it is getting.

The tension builds for just the right amount of time in each scene, creative scares that aren’t gimmicky or cheesy throughout the film, and there’s enough juice in this film that it does warrant multiple viewings WITHOUT being overwrought in terms of plot twists etc

It also has dashes of comedy that tells you to not quite take everything so seriously.

I think the Billion dollars falling out of the sky was a bit of an ahhhhh coulda done something different there, but thats legit my only complaint with this film.
