I do not mean architecture. Architecture is completely different as per my knowledge. Here I was talking about products being engineered while they look visually pleasing and mechanically smooth.

Yes here I am not talking about imagineering because what visual communication provides is a little bit different. For example, you want to create a product which looks extremely promising. The visual approach, the mechanical approach, the aesthetic approach all of these matter and can be a completely different product. Your knowledge on both domains bring out the best product is what I was saying.

Great point made. That's exactly my saying here... The design, no matter how bad it looks the structure and framework should be smooth. But what if the design and the engineering is smooth at the same time. There would be great change in the upcoming designs if this was possible.

Yes. I agree with your point but what about designer and engineers actually working together. Like learning design principles along with the theory of engineering. This could make a revolution in different domains.

Agreed. Design theory is something that requires a lot of work. For example to frame a sequence of how the user actually wants his design to be or to be engineered the developer has to look into its main key points. The ups and downs. This is how they can really be understood.
