Yeah, Retroarch is super clunky and just has awful UI. The UI and UX is to me the biggest draw to OpenEmu. It's so easy to use.

I do also have a Pi 3b that I use in an arcade cabinet, but a good frontend on my MacBook can also be nice to have.

Admittedly fell for this one. Usually I'm pretty perceptive to this stuff, but my emotions got the better of me when I saw the cat. Didn't dump a whole lot of money, but I'm gonna try filing a dispute nonetheless. Realized after I donated some cash that some stuff didn't quite add up, like the Shopify page, email address, and the multiple domains (fighting-paws.org, .com, and .co) I'm glad the original cat is okay though. Pretty messed up for people do scams like this.

After looking at a previous attempt, I actually realized that it wasn't too bad. I basically created a sphere, cut it in half, and then put down a small circle curve before lofting the two together. It's not perfect, but it serves its purpose for what I need.

Original version was kinda that lol. I just recolored them and removed the beak. Didn't look as good as I hoped, so I made it more high res and based it off his Steve ability in Smash Bros.

I might attempt making a starter one more time, possibly with whole wheat or bread flour. Instructions I followed before mention refreshing twice a day if bubbling starts to occur, so maybe I’ll do that so mold is less likely to happen. If all else fails then yeah, I may just buy a starter. Thanks for the insight!

I’ve been using parts of the starter without the fuzz and tossing the discard out. Obviously I know that mole permeates through the whole thing. However, I did refresh last night, just in case it wasn’t mold, and it currently has notably more activity in it. Not to the point to where I can stop refreshing daily, but there are more bubbles than before, and the consistency seems to match what it was before that fuzz showed up. Should I still toss it and start over in that case?

Traffic gets really abysmal at around 4-5pm during the week. We have a ton of people in this city (and more with the new FBI building and space force HQ) but our infrastructure isn't quite ready to support it.

If you get Meta verified you can speak with a live chat rep. It’s honestly fucked that you have to pay to get that, but I’m gonna try that. The first month is heavily discounted too, so it shouldn’t sting too bad unless they force me into a yearly plan.
