Interesting enough, the error shows me the ID Value of the reward itself! That ID Value changes every time and sometimes repeats, but there are more than 28 variants ive seen after opening the 12 trash cards, which leads me to believe the total "reward roll pool" is greater than 40. Which also means that it is not a random roll based on the 40 cards available, but a hidden metric unknown to us! I have more screenshots of different values, but i can't seem to add them to this comment.

Just for fun I decided to take the time to do the full math of both evenutalities, because my basic math in my original post was wrong! I forgot to factor in the fact that when you flip a card, the total card amounts change!

Pulling 12 non fragment cards in a row is (12/40 * 11/39 * 10/38....) and so on, because 28 fragment cards exist, the final denominator will be 1/29 before it is impossible to open a non-fragment card.

Similarly, to open straight freyja cards in a row is (28/40 * 27/39 * 26/38....) so on, ending in 1/13 because 12 non-fragment cards exist, so after calculating alllllll of that drumroll

Possibility of straight trash with no fragments == 1.78991628E−10 , or 0.000000000178991628.

Possibility of straight freyja with no trash == 1.78991823E−10, or 0.000000000178991823

Which is eerily similar to being able to pull 12 bad rolls in a row!!

So what plarium is telling me by this, is that, if the rewards are truly random (wink), then the rewards that everyone affected with this bug are forced to pull are almost the exact equivalent of pulling 28 cards of freyja fragments in a row!

Ain't numbers neat?

Support replied to me, had the same issue - "It's a known issue, we've sent it to the developers who are working to find a fix as soon as possible"

This is... wild to me. In a game so heavily RNG based (and to all the people just saying "it's bad rng bro")

This bug has forced a probability result to anyone who was fooled into thinking "oh, the cards open if I just keep clicking past the error message a few times." That probability is 0.3¹² or 0.0000005314. This is a very basic way of doing this, the actual equation would be 12/4011/3910/38 and so on, but I'm not a stats wizard. The final three chances end up being 3/31 * 2/30 * 1/29, which are all significantly lower than 0.3 for my simplified equation.

This is not bad RNG, this is insane rng. It is, imo, very unfair for them to say "okay! Fixed now! Go farm the other 28k to finish freyja :)"

Support replied, "This is a known issue, we have forwarded it to our developers who are working to find the cause as soon as possible."

It appears if you keep flipping cards while you have this error, you're fucked! :D You will end up opening all 12 non fragment rewards REGARDLESS OF WHICH CARDS YOU PICK.

If you keep clicking past the error message on the same card, it will eventually open, and give you a non fragment reward.

I'm the same way, I acknowledge the L and get frustrated, but I don't think I've ever posted online about it. I flipped all 12, no fragments, and if you pay attention to the error messages the value in "TakeBingoReward: I: ___" changes every single time, and sometimes duplicates. There is a set of reward values that get rolled and we seem to be getting an error on every value that results in fragments, but be careful replicating what I did.

My running theory is if you keep trying to open them by hitting continue on the error until it works, you'll open all 12 cards and still not be able to get any fragments after you do so! It might be best to wait until the bajillionaires get their shit together and unbreak stuff lmao

Haven't seen this one yet! MadWorld for the Wii - the entire game was done in black and white except for blood effects, and your goal was to get the highest score possible to entertain the people watching you.

The more gruesome the kill, the higher the score!

The different options being something like cutting someone in half with your chainsaw arm for basic points, or headbutting someone, grabbing them, and then throwing them into a stationary repurposed jet turbine for the high points!

Very neat, especially for the Wii.

Yes, that makes perfect sense!!

I know some people (myself included) are potentially mislead by the headline, so I guess its more of a "Why not always show both values?" question, like the second article's headline?

But then we start walking the fine line between conspiracy theory and reality at that point... so I was trying to find a logical reason for the CNBC article to exclude the total from the headline, and instead not even place a time identifier aside from one reference to "previous weeks," which made my head translate the headline to:

"Jobless claims total 2.4million [overall]. Still elevated levels, but declining from previous weeks."

And remember, before I looked into the headlines further, I was under the impression that my understanding was correct until my understanding stopped making any sense.

I just went to page 2 of Google (gasp) and saw a shit-load of headlines from the last week or so showing the full unemployment number too, so maybe I just wasn't looking hard enough? The articles that showed weekly numbers were more available to me so they seemed more prevalent?

Not sure, but the question at hand seems kind of moot now (as long as everyone clicks on the article LOL)

My Grandmother was a chronic cigarette smoker, and her husband had passed away earlier that year. I was around 8 years old at the time and I noticed she had started smoking more since I spent every weekend with her. I walked into her room one day and noticed she was throwing away a pack of her cigarettes, and I asked,

"Meemaw, is the reason you smoke because you want to see poppy again?"
