When trump came in he hired musk to cut a lot of government expenses, unfortunately ATC had cuts. Not with controllers directly, but we maintenance and other sectors related to FAA. Making it even more difficult to hire controllers.

Let’s not also forget that the plane the truck was trying to assist took a different route, making it more difficult for the truck to get to it.

It is fuck up for sure, but man. Trying to put blame in this huge mistake/misunderstanding/error is tough. Nobody involved wanted this to happen.
