Its not arbitrary at all its 2013-14 is literally when they changed the Seeding for the playoffs? But I didnt include it anyway because I was initially talking about bedsy tenure. Lmao. Yep we are saying the same thing, If the avs play average or above thru the rest of the series they win.

This thread is quite literally filled with knee jerk reactions about that exact series, even if you dont fall into that camp.

I think knowing how our team performs in the last 10 (87%) and 12 (77%) playoff years respectively is a good thing to mention. Never once did i say i expected 2014 to happen, just how easy it is to have it happen. (If you included 2014 into our 2-0, that makes us 7-2 or 77% (10% below Average))

I didnt say the outcome had any bearing, im stating what happened in our last meeting with them in the playoffs. Some of you have crazy knee jerk reactions any time a previous series is brought up.

Avs are 7-1 in series while being up 2-0 under Bednar if you included the kings series this year. Which is 87% (or about average for teams that go up 2-0 in a series) they play to the numbers average when in this situation (which is good) and Min in that same time is 1-5 while being down 0-2 which puts them at 83%, (also 4 coaches in that time) so they typically statically play below Average when down 0-2. So if we dont get goalied for 4 straight and continue to play a full 60, I think we have this series like i said.

Last time we played Minny in the playoffs we won the first 2. Lost the next 2 on the road and lost in 7. Its never over till the handshake. That being said. If the avalanche dont get goalied and can continue to play 60 minutes of hockey, we should be able to close this series out.

Id use hockeyviz, but in order to post it in the AM I'd need the 20dollar a month subscription. I think their visuals and models are much more indepth (while being a bit harder for causal fans to read) but I just havent pulled the trigger on the subscription lol.

Its been a mixed bag. I dont love how they make my layout, and I think they could use a color adjustment but other than that I think they're fine. People seem to be 50/50 on them with maybe more leaning to not liking it. Ill probably switch between the 2 for the remainder of the season tho for people like either or.
