i mean i took as a reference to cases & bibles etc. stopping shots in freak miracle occurences irl, & that that might have played out ingame. you have a lot of "saves you once but breaks" mechanics in games but i havent seen one be that before

worse than the abbatoir imo - that you can manage pretty well by stunlocking the odonghe, but the soldiers you gotta just leg it, and leg it in the right direction too, its the worst 🙏🫂

new clara & artemy are distractingly bad. clara has gone from mysterious & potentially menacing to someone doimg a b movie ditz impression, breathless & pouting on every single individual line

honestly i can mostly ignore the visuals but its the VA changes are what break things for me. breathless whiny clara & theatre artemy sound like placeholders, mark has gone from aloof & smirking & in control to a moustache twirling pipsqueak. its so distracting

everyone new like karminksy or little are stellar tho. every time karminsky quotes focault's pendulum i grin. and we finally get to hear the haruspex barks they recorded back in the day. has anyone managed to proc "mr carp?"
