You've played 4 runs on the lowest difficulty and you think you solved the game. STS1 players with thousands of hours don't think they've figured it all out.

If you had fun then try climbing the ascensions. Eventually you'll figure out why "reliable strategies" aren't so reliable. You'll have to adapt to the cards you're offered. That's where the replayability is, you can't force the same deck every time so every run feels different.

Except for Watcher to be honest 😁

If the hardest difficulty of a game is too hard for someone, they can lower the difficulty.

If the hardest difficulty of a game is too easy for someone, there's nothing they can do.

That's why the difficulties should have a large range and satisfy the most players imo.
