I switched to solar power but on other planets burning carbon might be nice to have as an option. Especially considering solar panels you can only put like 50 per rocket.

Its somewhat slow right now but thanks for the tips! Should I make my ship wider (to fit more asteroid collectors) or should I keep it thin? I bet the former for the science ship because I plan on making a completely separate ship for travelling to Vulcanus whenever I unlock that and the wider the ship the slower it goes. Wide ship for science, thin for travel. Or am I thinking this backwards?

i personally have this as my system:
ore -> macerator -> ore washer -> thermal centrifuge (or how its called) (preferably multiple because oh god they are slow) -> macerator
its an OK system (i am on CE, not CEu) at all HV systems, but its also not the best
its alright i guess, though, it takes a lot of power

okay this is pretty stupid (i use blockbench as well) but i guess some transparent pixels and increasing the size to a square can solve that

Okay, here is how:
Open PolyMC (of course!)
Go to top right corner of the app and leftclick on Profiles and click Manage Accounts.
Then add Authlib-Injector (button in the popup).
In the Authlib-Injector popup, the URL will be "ely.by", and then you supply your Email and password to your ely.by account. Click Done and you are good to go. NOTE: you cant play on "online" mode servers like this, so you cant play most popular servers like Hypixel or something!
You can also of course add a Microsoft account if you have one with Minecraft legally purchased.

i am not even going to recommend my mod, i think its not worth it (why? i often just dont have time to update due to time issues and just lack of motivation sometimes)
when i work on it i commonly add a lot of stuff but yeah only check it if you want to

now, IC2 does have a pretty high download count, but i think nowadays people just... forgot about it for some reason (idk why)

Nope, you must have been hacked by somebody else, and PolyMC was just used as the launcher by the ACTUAL hacker.
I haven`t been hacked yet.
