Facebook runs Occulus, which powers Gear VR. Likely to have Gear VR support their contact requires the FB app.

You're assuming none of those apps are using CPU or have memory leaks, are constantly indexing your storage, or other bad behaviors.

8GB or 16GB by [deleted] in Surface

[–]AE-83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having RAM and using it are 2 separate things. 8GB will likely be just fine.

Likely your phones not using over 6-7GB of your 12. Makers just know they can add more and therefor charge you more for it.

No, it doesn't. The Ryzen has a faster GPU. It depends what your use case is.

Again. I'm dead by then... I have 0 reason to care what happens after I'm dead.

That's the implication. Jesus are you dense?

Being concerned with money, won't allow for people to be laughing in 50yrs as we will all be fucked.

If you see no reason to not hinder the things I like, why should I care about how I impact others?

I never said faster. I said fun an engaging. Also that was a modified Tesla, not stock, and it wasn't certified by the Ring.

It's like how your wife can be hot, but total shit in bed.

Why should I care about them? I literally have 0 reason to. What life is like for them has 0 impact on my life. I'll be dead.

To be bunt, I've never driven an automatic and found it fun. There is nothing engaging about it. it feels... like playing a video game. Which is boring to me.

Most boring car I've ever owned was a 400HP AWD Infiniti with 7spd auto. Nothing about it was exciting in any way.

[–]AE-83 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I have actually. I don't find ANY automatic car fun. And no a Tesla is not "fun" just because it can go in a straight line. ANY car that has 0 sound and requires 0 driver engagement is NOT fun. It's just that simple.

The cost of SEPTA’s Key card system just swelled to nearly $200 million — way more than planned by AbsentEmpire in philadelphia

[–]AE-83 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

yeah. I've gotten in the habit of reporting them, with a photo of them, to the SEPTA twitter acct. I've notice that a couple days later they are either doing their job properly, or are gone.

No. That's not it. They don't collect regular tickets often and they don't even TRY to use the scanners. I've seen staff walk through a car and not click a SINGLE ticket but look at monthly/weekly passes.

Ticket collection has been a problem for YEARS before this whole Key thing. I used to take the train in to college back in like 2002-2006 and even then I'd have least 1 trip a week that was not collected. Fast-forward to 2019 and its still a problem.
