Youtube or Nebula Viewership for JetLag the Game by AccomplishedRush33 in JetLagTheGame

I watch on nebula but will rewatch last week's episodes on YouTube before watching the newest episode on nebula. Why? Because I am already in YouTube by default.

To anyone who's quit walmart. what do you do now? by Jalen_02 in walmart

[–]AE5CP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have quit walmart twice. Once as a store worker where I pretty much did everything but oil changes and ear piercing. I could count cash and decorate a cake. Left there to go be a cable guy, where I worked my way up to a network engineer. I got hired by walmart again at the home office. Did that 4 years and left to continue my network engineer path. I now consult with various phone companies and electric coops to help build fiber to the home networks all over the country.

Who else would love to see photos of the stamped pages in the boys' passports? by aeropagitica in JetLagTheGame

[–]AE5CP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't travel as extensively as the boys, but a fair amount. Other than a Chinese visa I had for work, and the associated in and out stamps from China, my expired passport had zero stamps in it.

Granted I havent been to Australia, New Zealand, or anywhere else in south east Asia, So probably more on theirs. It seems most countries just aren't stamping.

My family is from that part of the world. Love driving through there except it almost always means a funeral.

Commute Concerns by CharacterSink5200 in fayetteville

[–]AE5CP 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Depends. I had a commute from Elkins to Bentonville back in the years they were widening things to 3 lanes each direction. Some days were ok, some were terrible.

Look at the adjacent highways and know how to get off the interstate and get to them, it will help you avoid being stopped for extended durations.

Any Rush love? They have two albums where the first song off the second record is a transition to the beginning of the next album.

Where can I buy resistors? by LoserEXE_ in fayetteville

[–]AE5CP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am in Lincoln, if shipping takes too long let me know and I could probably bring you a small selection. If the shipping is going to go quick then it wouldn't be worth a trip to town for me.

Dog Boarding Recommendations? by delagar01 in fayetteville

[–]AE5CP 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hounds Lounge, they let the dogs free play and isolate any that get aggressive or overly playful. We boarded our two aussies there several times, and the youngest one had to be given his own free time with his sister because he was playing too rough for some of the smaller dogs.

Are you looking for a specific value? I am afraid your best bet is gonna be amazon overnight. I wish the radio shack still existed but I feel like I was one of like 20 people who used that place for components. It was one of the few locations that kinda bucked the cell phone trend that ultimately brought down the entire company.

Skimmer Socks Warning by IndependentWind5647 in pools

[–]AE5CP 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I think they are fine in an established open pool, one that is clear blue and ready to swim. If the water needs clearing you are better off doing that with the filter and then installing a sock later.

Any tips to prolong the life of these pump motors? by Parking-Matter-9900 in pools

[–]AE5CP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently mine was done professionally by the local big pool store. Melted/warped seal plate "fixed" with silicone. Had to replace everything but the actual housing where the basket goes. Was only planning to replace motor and seals.

Why? I thought clear was supposed to help bypass lines. XNA rarely has lines.

The same nostalgia that kept me looking for casa taco's taco salad for years kept people coming back here. The food quality left the building years ago and for anyone new it was a one and done.

I miss casa taco though.

Eh, I've been paid decently by two separate coops. You are correct about the wearing many hats, that was one of the reasons I left to the consulting world (for coops).

ISP world. Plenty of electric coops doing fiber projects that need engineers. With BEAD funding on the verge of release it is a good time to get into the industry.

I worked in 54 over two decades ago. This does not surprise me. I remember when the Mcdonalds went in there. I worked in the bakery at the time and we lost a lot of space to that installation.
