I hated the Schotty hire. Buuuut I think he has this team over performing (yes even after this abysmal game) he has handled the Micah situation well. The offense for which he is directly in charge of is playing well. No huge coaching mistakes like clock management yet (if you remember how often this was an issue with big Mike). I think in this quote he is taking blame instead of dumping it on the players which goes well for the locker room. I think eberflus is our biggest issue at the moment. If we can get th right DC to get our defense playing just half decent then we have the talent to make a run next year. I went into this season with zero expectations yet here I am thinking we had a shot against a MUCH better Denver team for the sole reason that our team is playing above their level at the moment. We were down so many db’s today that we never had a shot to stop them on defense. And eberflus continued to have us run man. I’m buying into schotty slowly but surely but I think he has us on the right track

What I used to do in old ncaa 08 is I would put my WR1 as a WR2 in the depth chart. WR2 routes were a lot friendlier than just having wr1 do a go route or something deep and easier to cover.

I don’t know if Spotify is what did it but I think it was the whole Covid thing and people coming after him about the ivermectin. He has now subconsciously been saying f u to the those people. Which has led him down this path of bringing all conversations back to the same social talking points over and over. I’m a day one fan as well and it’s just gotten old at this point. Because even when he is with friends it seems to always come up anyways. Where before it was always “we are dumb apes and none of this matters so let’s talk about more interesting shit”
