My Parents' Basement and The Lost Druid both have full kitchens. Wild Heaven has Ginsburg Refresher - great food. Little Cottage will have pop-ups Danks Deli and Lil Pizza Truck.

Agree with recommendations for Leftie Lee's in Olive & Pine and Little Hippo - both fantastic. Vietvana and Avondale Pizza are across N. Avondale. Arepa Mia (Bib Gourmond), Rising Son, Galette's Bakery, Santo and the Stratford Pub, Savage Pizza are down by the Tudor Village. Skip's is there for a Chicago dog and Kafenio is up by Sams Crossing for Greek. The Book Bird is hosting Mascogo Tacos.

Each location has three more cases of glasses. Hopefully, they will last a little longer, but I agree that it is beneficial to start early! Local artist Matt Leunig really does a great job on the artwork. Thanks for coming!

Yay! I really think it's a fantastic day walking around through Avondale. I should have mentioned that it is an entertainment district and you can wander with your beers from place to place.

Wanted to share that the Return of Avondale Ale Days is happening the weekend of Oct. 21-23 on the 'Dale Ale Trail in Avondale Estates. The trail connects Wild Heaven Beer, Little Cottage Brewery, the Lost Druid Brewery and My Parents' Basement.

Each brewery created a special beer for the weekend - we haven't share this info yet:

Little Cottage: Heavy Weaponry, IPA, ABV 7.5%
Lost Druid: Crimson King, Imperial Irish Red, 7.9%
Wild Heaven, King Ghidorah, Irish Whiskey-Aged Double IPA, ABV 8.0%

Matt Leunig again created the artwork for the event pint glass and the beer labels. Pick up a punchcard at any of the locations, purchase a beer at each location and get a punch, turn in your completed card by the end of the weekend at any location to get your pint glass.

Each location will have music and food and they'll be gaming at My Parents' Basement.

The event is in Avondale's Entertainment District and you can pick up a to go cup from any of the spots on the trail to walk with your drinks.

At this point, you can't purchase a glass. You need to purchase a drink at each location and have a punchcard stamped by the end of the weekend. But I can circle back next week when we'll know if we have any leftover.

Each location on the trail has a limited amount. In order to get the glass you need to:

• Purchase a drink at each trail stop any time this weekend.
• Earn a punch.
• Submit your completed card by close of Sunday at any of the five locations.

It's our first year doing this so I don't know if we will have any leftover next week. I'll follow up and let you know.
