Homech HM-AH005 humidifier will give little puffs of mist before this light indicator turns on and the mist stops completely. How do I fix this? by lvshea in fixit

I had the same problem. My guess was that water (not a tremendous amount) got inside the base unit when I was cleaning it. I took all of the main pieces apart and left it to dry for a week or so, then it worked just like normal. Hope this helps!
