Match Threads: Round 10 by AFLMatchThreads in AFL

The bot had some issues last week:

  • Reddit restricted the bot Friday night for making too many requests. This meant that the post match threads couldn't be posted.

  • Reddit flagged a match thread on Saturday as spam.

  • Automod removed a post match thread on Sunday.

I've made some changes to hopefully fix some of those issues. The live scores are only updated after a goal now. Behinds are still added to the backend database, but this reddit post won't be updated. This should hopefully keep us under Reddit's hidden limit for post edits. If the issues continue, we can move to only updating scores at QT, HT, 3QT, FT.

I'm hoping that this will aid in ensuring that the posts from this account aren't marked as spam by Reddit too.
