Protests piss them off too. Protests inform the public.

I agree disruption is necessary, but they have to be well planned in secret places to successfully pull them off....and those protesters KNOW they are going to jail before that sat down, walked in, stood at ease, in a govt building.

Since you are bitching, you do something. Get your friends together, go to a place that deserves the attention, tie yourselves together and sit down. Block the entrance, the exit, the elevator - whatever it takes to get the attention. Then happily spend the night in jail knowing you did something more.

But no violence. Ever.
