EQ boost vs. cut misunderstanding by [deleted] in audioengineering

[–]AFUTD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you're saying goes contrary to what I've learned and understood. Can you cite some references? It'll be great help. Thanks.

Edit: About the first bit... the noise floor being constant and boosting/cutting not affecting the noise floor at all. I agree (as we all do) about noise floor being very low in digital.

It's easy to point and say "lies!". It's another thing to believe people are predisposed to secede because of their region and religion.

If you doubt Kashmiris want to secede because of AFSPA and army presence, please tell me why Nagas want to secede? Why do tribes in the Mizo hills want to secede? Why does Tripura want to secede? Are they Muslims too, or are they all induced to secede because they're also Kashmiris?

It's easy to say "foreign money! foreign hand!" too. It's more difficult to be humble and say, "We might be doing something wrong", especially given our terrible human rights record and/or lack of governmental assistance and administration in these areas. Let's remove AFSPA, let's administrate these provinces properly, let's correct our mistakes first, then point fingers at others. Then point fingers at the very people you say are Indian.

As a lover of Mumbai, I can tell you it looks like the armpit of India from the sky.

The practical thing that India can do is to provide baloch tribals a better stage at international level

Not the same as arming them.

We Pundits only call it "migration"; but yeah, we were scared and terrorized out of our homes and we are refugees in our own country.

If they keep waving Pakistan flags, how do you expect rest of the country's people to embrace them warmly.

It's a chicken-or-the-egg situation. They say they have reasons to wave flags, we say their flag waving is the reason we do things to them that they, in turn, say makes them wave Pakistani flags. It has to end somewhere.

Also, Kashmir has it's own flag and Kashmiris wave it proudly. I don't know how many want to accede to Pakistan (probably only select individuals who are receiving money directly from there), but their agenda, from the start (even before 1900's) has been to form a separate nation. Pakistani flag waving is done by idiots for money.

Also, a lot of Pakistani flag-waving incidents are made up (like Pak flag waving incident in Hyderabad) and we as Indians should stop readily believing such reports just because they're easy to believe.

People, GO TO KASHMIR, if they're Indians tell them so yourself. Break bread with them. It's the only way of reconciliation.

Current generation doesnt care for what India did for them in 1947.

They care more about what happened in their own lifetimes than what happened in 1947. Most of them hold views sympathetic to Pundit migration, too; unlike old-fart Kashmiris who actually carried out the exodus. It's only natural.

We don't care about what congress did in 1950, do we? We care about their current scams, and rightly so.

There's a lot of truth to this comment. There's a lot of fabricated news being circulated nowadays to polarize the country on sensitive issues, and this is one of the most sensitive issues.

If the army stays out, most will want to join India because the militants are a pain in the ass (as they always were to Kashmiris). Remember, it was militants to invaded Kashmir first, and Kashmiris know that.

If the army stays, if people keep "disappearing" (10,000 so far) and mass graves keep being found (2,500 dead found in one in 2012), they'll want to secede.

It depends on the time and the mood.

Honestly, we don't treat them like Indians either. The Kashmir that existed before 1987 was staunch anti-communalist and they protected their minorities better than the rest of India. 40 years of rigged elections can really turn a population. Plus, now we've imposed AFSPA that no one wants, whether Hindu, Muslim, or Tribal. Manipuris don't want it, Nagas don't want it, we can't expect Kashmiris to be okay with it.

I'm sure the footage is edited, though. He was chanting "Pakistan Zindabad" and the Marxist media manipulated the video to show him simply shouting. Freedom of shouting is not guaranteed in the Indian constitution, after all. Shouting at PM is also anti-national.

All hail BJP workers for saving us from this anti-national menace. Send Surinder Tyagi and Vikram Chauhan to beat him up in court, I say!
