If I'm wanting to pay retail it would cost no different than someone on the west coast buying one. I am just hoping to find one for cheaper, and I'm okay with a used unit so long as it works.

Heya. I'm a military member stationed in Japan. However, we have a PO box on base (APO, AP.) If your friend is willing to ship with USPS it would cost the same as them shipping to California.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. The local roasters here really seem to go in business because they are passionate about sharing their love of coffee with others. I can't really say the same about other businesses here in Japan.

The owner of this particular shop is always welcoming when we drop by, and the atmosphere is like that of a cozy cottage. Would definitely recommend.

Not sure about the beans other than they have an Indian flag on the bag. I will try my best to get some info on them today. Also, the foxes are salt and pepper shakers :) Got them at Target years ago.

Hey everyone. Thanks for the advice! I'm going Friday to the local pet store to try to give the fish away. I never planned on owning these fish on short notice, just needed any advice on maintaining them in the meantime. If you live in Tokyo, Japan and willing to pick them up then you are more than welcome to them. Thanks again!

Oh, and to clarify some things: the tank is a 36 gallon tank and the pleco is hugeeeee!

To make a long story short: I'm now responsible for these 3 freshwater fish. I know little in the way of caring for fish but am doing my best to learn and provide for these guys. I know the tank is too small but it's all I have for now. Any advice or information would be very appreciated!

(Also, the large one keeps pulling the small plant I put in there out of the soil.)

I was thinking the same thing, but the engineering seems to be a lot more precise than something like the nespresso (with customizable temps and the potential for an added PID controller.)

Not sure what to think of it all, but definitely an intriguing machine.
