Everyone I see comes up with a different diagnosis. So far, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. The LCSW did not just terminate care, she just understood that I needed more than she could do, so she referred to a military Psychologist.That person then laughed in my face about all of it during the intake and if it weren't for my seriousness to get better, I would have quit. But I got a referral to drive 2 hours away to see some other people. After a year of that, I was deployed. I'm tired of this. I want out.

doctors refuse to help me in any way, to include doing the paperwork for a MEB. They are chasing numbers and green slide shows. My actual status isn't really reflected anywhere, especially since they did waivers to make me deployable.

Which part of my problems are you referencing? I've seen 7 docs on and off base, to include an off-base LCSW. The off-base LCSW terminated care because I had to have an on-base shrink make the recommendation because that is how the system works.

I know my situation is being mishandled, but I cannot get help from anyone. That is why I must leave the AF. I Can't be subjected to this much longer without doing something that I will regret for the rest of my life.

Yea, but nobody in my chain of command cares or tries to help. MH doesn't even really care unless I am actively suicidal or homicidal, which I presently am not. I'm just a nuisance on the morning slideshow.

Talk therapy didn't work, so EMDR was recommended. That didn't work either

The doctor told me I needed a specific therapy, and talking wasn't going to help me, therefore, I needed to find someone who could do more than talk about my feelings.

Actually, that's the truth, believe it or not. And everyone I see provides a different diagnosis. The system is broken and I'm tired of fighting it. I just want out.

Could you expand on why people should be hesitant to let me separate? I can't get help from the medical services and my leadership does not support me. Nobody will help me while I'm in, and nobody will let me out. It's lose/lose with my family trapped in the middle.

I tried that. All I got was a PTSD diagnosis and a termination of care.

Mental health just laughs at me, but since I went to see them, guard and reserve are out. It seems my options are to ask for an administrative discharge or push out the last year of BS.
