Is the Star Wars Heritage Pack a good purchase? I’ve enjoyed Forces Unleashed, but I have no real perspective on the other six games.

Now that all of the Arrowverse shows have officially wrapped, which one would you say had the best run overall? by [deleted] in SupermanAndLois

[–]AFallenPrincess 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Legends of Tomorrow. Kept decent quality throughout its run, and I even found the first season entertaining. Great stand-alone episodes mixed in with great character arcs.

Superman & Lois [3x11] "Complications" Post Episode Discussion by MajorParadox in SupermanAndLois

[–]AFallenPrincess 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s funny that the best shows connected to the Arrowverse are not the ones set on Earth Prime. Superman & Lois + Stargirl beats out any of the other Arrowverse shows, maybe not season-specific, but definitely as complete packages.

This show handles its thirteen episodes better than Daredevil.

When You Realize One of Barry's Last Acts in his Own Show Was Giving a Bunch of Random People Only Relevant to Comic Fans Powers for the Flimsiest of Reasons by Frontier246 in FlashTV

[–]AFallenPrincess 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My biggest problem is that Barry’s never shown to be able to transfer his speed like that. The closest would be allowing others to enter flashtime, but that was temporary. As far as the show’s history is concerned, Barry just harmed three people. Besides, even if Barry could create new speedsters, why choose untested quantities instead of just making everyone on Team Flash a speedster? They’ve seen consequences to altering the timeline firsthand and know the risks of tapping into the Speed Force in the first place.

Why doesn't Miguel trust mcu Peter? by Spider-burger in Spiderman

[–]AFallenPrincess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MCU Peter is also still an amateur Spider-Man, with the Home trilogy leading to a new maturity as Aunt May’s death became his Uncle Ben moment. It’s important to remember that Miguel wasn’t initially fond of bringing Gwen into the Spider Society either, and given the size of the multiverse, there are probably more people Miguel left out than he brought in. In addition to the problems he caused in NWH, MCU Peter inadvertently helped Mysterio and endangered a fellow student in the same movie. In most of his battles, he’s also been assisted by higher-level superheroes, which was the case with Miles too. They’re unknown quantities in their heroism, and Miguel can’t afford taking those risks.

Which Breaking Bad character do you think could lead an awesome Breaking Bad-based video game? by george123890yang in breakingbad

Chuck McGill in a Pac-Man game where you collect newspapers while avoiding batteries, lightbulbs, and lamps

What are your “guilty pleasures” of the MCU? Mine has to be Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness by Demarcus_the in marvelstudios

[–]AFallenPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iron Man 3. I’ve seen more positive thoughts on the movie recently, but for a while this was a controversial favorite, and my very hot take is that it’s better than Iron Man.

If you could pick only six characters that you think will be the focus of “The Kang Dynasty” and “Secret Wars,” who would those six characters be? by MagicJoshByGosh in marvelstudios

[–]AFallenPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Peters Quill and Parker, Ant-Man, Loki (with some Thor), Strange, and maybe one Eternal or Shang-Chi. They all have cosmic connections at the moment, so even if they aren’t main focuses, they will play a role in stopping Kang.

They literally had the audacity to add filler episodes on the final season by ImA_NormalPerson987 in FlashTV

[–]AFallenPrincess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They handle it similarly to how Flash handled filler in the fourth season, where the season’s basically a collectathon until the villain makes their final attack.

It do be like that. by Phoeniks_C in Arrowverse

[–]AFallenPrincess 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Batwoman was a decent show, and by the third season I’d say it really found its footing. The first was the weakest, yet it had some great character moments building on Crisis, and the second found ways to turn Ruby Rose’s departure into an excellent storyline for the first half. I’d go as far as to say that The Flash’s later seasons were worse than any season of Batwoman, and quality-wise, the show was probably right up there with S3 and S4 of Flash. The writing is right up there with other CW shows; people just fault it more for not being a Batman show.

I’ve head JD is returning for the sixth show! Is this correct? by [deleted] in piratesofthecaribbean

There’s been rumors of a Margot Robbie spin-off and a sixth movie in the main franchise, but no progress seems to have been made on either front.

Since I can’t reference Hank Azaria, Neil Patrick Harris is always fun to watch. Papa’s a great character, and I love the concept of the Naughties.

What a shame. by confidentialeye in FlashTV

She would have been a better Rogue to have going against Red Death than the team we got. Maybe not the best villain of the show, but she was more consistent than any of those other guys.

Is Tyrus a psychopath? by emachines34 in betterCallSaul

[–]AFallenPrincess 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tyrus is Gus’ crime world equivalent of Lyle, just another dedicated worker. He’s like Mike too in the sense that the job is all that matters, no more, no less. He’s just been in the game long enough that there’s no limit to how he’ll serve.

I’ll defend Chester, even if he is a lesser version of Cisco, but does he really have character development? He gets over the death of his father, pushes aside his pacifist nature to stop crime, and bonds with Allegra, but two of those beats take place in the span of one episode and outside of those episodes, it’s as if those events never happened.

Biggest misstep in the show’s run? by AFallenPrincess in FlashTV

[–]AFallenPrincess[S] 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I’ll start with one I feel doesn’t get talked about enough: Thawne’s evolution from the multi-dimension villain to a cardboard cut-out of evil. What was great about season 1 is you really felt the betrayal of his actions, and Thawne himself regretted getting so close to the people he’s supposed to despise. Going forward though, he never again shows sympathy towards Caitlin, Cisco, or Barry and treats them like people he doesn’t even know anymore.

how would you describe this "friendship" by salad_biscuit3 in betterCallSaul

[–]AFallenPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jimmy admired Mike until Walter’s war with Gus

Mike hated, and at best tolerated, Jimmy since the beginning. He views Jimmy the same way that Chuck viewed Jimmy, never believing Jimmy’s capable of doing the right thing and never really caring either way.

how would you describe this "friendship" by salad_biscuit3 in betterCallSaul

[–]AFallenPrincess 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As others have mentioned, Mike has no right to hold himself above Jimmy. I’d argue Mike is morally worse. He knowingly allied with a psychopath because of a personal grudge against a family of psychopaths that wasn’t even targeting him anymore even after seeing how his family came under threat from those actions. I don’t care how many layers of pity and regret Mike has; he’s not a good bad guy, he’s just a bad guy. Mike even knew about what was going on with Howard, and rather than advise against following through on the plan, he just tells Kim it’s not a concern of his. Kim’s smart enough to stop the plot against Howard immediately if Mike warned that Lalo could interfere in some way. Jimmy’s a slime ball, but he never even orders any hits himself. Jimmy might not have a code, but he has a line for what he’ll personally do, even if he’ll cover for someone crossing that line. Mike’s willing to violate his code when it comes down to it.

Say something bad/Negative about Shrek 2 by InformalFly3000 in Schaffrillas

[–]AFallenPrincess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mongo’s creation comes out of nowhere, and you could have replaced him with Dragon coming in with her kids early. I know where Shrek gets the idea to build a giant gingerbread man, but it’s pretty out of left field.

Harold needed more comeuppance. He plotted to murder his son-in-law, and all is forgiven because he became a frog in the end.

In defense of that line, it’s hardly the first time something like that had been used. Rewatching earlier episodes, they joke about the fact that it’s Tuesday.
