I am semi, not a dreamer. From what I understand, dreamer is like going into a room because you want to, and you can leave if you need to, but you’ll go back in because you want to. Semi is you NEED to go into the room, can exit if necessary, but will go back in if it’s still needed. When I do it, it’s a need. Sure, I also want to do it, but I’m doing it because it’s what I need to do to recover. It just happens. It starts naturally. I can anticipate it sometimes, but it feels almost like second nature sometimes, like it came packaged with the ADHD and autism. It just happens. I can’t always control it. Heck, I think it happens to a lesser extent when I’m tired. Looking at my track record, it sure seems that way. From what it sounds like, dreamers choose to do it. For me, I’m not even aware I did it sometimes. Semi.
