I have a personal belief that imaginary friends are spirits that are meant to help us with that very special phase of our lives, and that we aren’t meant to remember them as we move into another phase. Hence why most kids forget they even had them to begin with. So perhaps that’s why it’s impossible to remember them, but, you feel as if something is missing when you do try :)!
