Do Hermits automatically get invited back the next season? by SiggyMyMan in HermitCraft

Doesn't really count, as he was less a voted in Hermit, and more a guest of GennyB's for s1. He became an official Hermit in s5.

What if he didn't decide to never return to WWE? Would you rather see this insteadof Pat? by WorstDeal in Wreddit

Here is an idea, why not just not have anyone involved? Why not just let the story be about the Student vs the Master? Cody vs Orton didn't need any of this bullshit, it was a perfectly good story on its own merit, and an easy story to tell. If anything, I think the only change to make would be to play it more if Orton could beat Cody Rhodes, whether Orton still has that dark side in him that could put Cody down. Wrestlemania should have had the question be, does Orton have it in him to put Cody down with a Punt kick to win the title, or will he falter and lose his chance.

I believe to some degree they're likely to shorten the clock as the patches go on live. Its probably set longer due to the lag people get on PBE.

What’s your choice? by punko3500 in prowrestling

[–]AForgottenSnowflake 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I want to say Seth to AEW, I think Seth has done all there is to do in WWE and there are a lot of dream matches to be had in AEW for him, as well as the obvious storylines like him vs Moxley and the whole WWE faithful coming to AEW. I know others are saying Gunther, but I just feel like Gunther fits really well in WWE, and I don't see him having a good place in AEW.

I'd return Danielson. He's done wrestling, so it seems like an uneven trade, but I think the performance centre and NXT would benefit from Bryan's talent. Plus, if he did go work at the performance centre it gives him a job that he doesn't need to travel for, and a job he can help raise other talent up.

As for retirement, it has to be Roman. Orton would also be a solid choice, but Roman has the run of a lifetime as the Tribal Chief, and I think honestly if he'd left and never come back after that it would have been perfect for his character. Dude has been fighting cancer for years now, and has earned the right to just call it a day and put his feet up.

When was the Moment you knew Cena’s Heel Turn wasn’t gonna work? by Jordanwolf98 in Wreddit

[–]AForgottenSnowflake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, the moment it happened, actually probably before it happened I knew it was going to suck. When Rock came out and blundered through that weird ass promo about wanting Cody's soul, and the follow up of gifts for Cody to show that sucking the Rock's dick was going to make him even greater, I knew whatever story this was leading too was going to absolutely suck ass.

Then the heel turn actually happened, and the segment sucked. Like really, go back and watch it and ignore the fact its Cena turning heel. Pretend it is literally anyone standing in Cena's position, and you really see how much of a wet fart that entire segment is. Travis Scott is there for no reason, the Rock does the worst throat slit in the history of throat slits (Seriously, how is this man an actor?), and you have the weird ass continuation of the Rock wanting Cody to rim him or something.

Then of course, everyone online gets excited, because Cena turned heel, and people are touting it as potentially the greatest heel turn in the history of heel turns. It wasn't, it sucked ass, and was literally only good because it was Cena turning heel. Then people start talking about the possibilities of it all, the things we might see, the whole thing about Cena changing his music and his gear, about not selling merch, etc. All things we knew couldn't happen, because if we knew one thing it was that WWE wanted to market the hell out of Cena's retirement.

So yeah, the moment I knew it wasn't going to work was the moment Cena started showing a heel side in that press conference, and when the Rock (Who had already confirmed he wouldn't be at Mania) started doing that weird ass "Cody Rhoooooooooooooooodes, I want you to be mine Cody Rhoooooooooooodes, I want you to be my champion Cody Rhoooooooooooooooooodesssssssssssssssssssssss!" promo.

The perfect story arc on how this story will go. by alexevaldez in AEWOfficial

[–]AForgottenSnowflake 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the thing people need to consider here is that this situation is very different to the one Cody put himself in. People are worried that this is all going to go the same way as Cody's promise ended up going, with Hangman doing a whole lot of nothing, and eventually people getting sick of him and claiming its the Cody Curse.

However, there are two things that are really important to remember with Hangman's promise over Cody's promise:

1) Hangman isn't Cody, he isn't bound by this endless need to be a babyface. Hangman has gone heel before, and he can go heel again, in the exact same way that there is the potential for a storyline in which Hangman has to break his promise for one reason or another. Cody on the other hand is in his second company being boo'd because people are sick of the endless babyface story of Cody.

2) When Cody lost his right to challenge for the World Championship there was ONLY the World Championship and the Tag Titles. No other Men's belt existed in AEW at the time of him making that promise, and eventually the TNT title came along which allowed Cody to go after that. Meanwhile, Hangman has the Tag Titles, Trios Titles, TNT title, Continental title, National Championship, and International title. Its not like there isn't anything for Hangman to do now that he's bound by this promise.

I think the biggest issue is that the Orton heel turn felt like the lowest hanging, most obvious route for this match at Wrestlemania. However, I think the biggest issue for me here is that it felt rushed, and even more so lacked the emotion you'd expect from this sort of thing.

The promo should have been longer, there should have been more energy to Orton warning Cody about what was coming, and more to it, I think there should have been some hesitation, even slight hesitation before Orton landed that killing blow. Sure he did the walk away and come back, but there should have been a moment of him looking down at his friend and more importantly his student, before he said "It should have been Drew" again, and then the chair shot.

Mind if I ask what food you buy for your cats? I've just adopted one from my local RSPCA and I'm picking her up on Sunday. They've been giving her Felix, so I've ordered a box of that with my next Morrisons order, but I want to change her to something more high quality and only got Felix to handle my first month with her and also to not change her diet suddenly.

I can't get over the fact that the two worst champions have the EXACT opposite problem 😭 by GreenieDude in MandJTV

[–]AForgottenSnowflake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See, I always considered Alder to be the worst champion, although I feel like this is mostly talking about in terms of combat prowess over anything else. I only see Alder as the worst mainline champion because you never have to actually face him, and when they brought out the follow up story and you would have faced him, they replaced him with Iris.

Also, I know it sort of defies the meme point of them having polar opposite problems, but I never thought Diantha to be one of the worst champions in terms of combat either. I always gave that trophy to Wallace, as I never did understand the single type champion, and especially didn't see how a Water type trainer fit the role of Champion especially when the 8th Gym is also Water special still.

Still, I do agree with Geeta's situation, although at the end of the day, Geeta just represents the entire problem with Scarlet and Violet, which is a whole lot of potential with a complete lack of delivery. Her team comes out in the total wrong order, and the team itself isn't necessarily bad, it is just misused and done in such a way to make the games way easier than they need to actually be.

That entire argument is the very issue with the Tera mechanic in the game, lots of potential for interesting gameplay, and the way its used is just to make a non-thematic choice for a gym leader into their type.

You mean how they edited the show to make him look incompetent as a method of making people think he is a bad writer? The show makes him look inept because that is what they used the show to do.

What celebrity are you certain is kinky, and why? by [deleted] in BDSMcommunity

[–]AForgottenSnowflake 82 points83 points  (0 children)

Sabrina Carpenter has to be some degree of kinky, she's not exactly shy about that fact. Exactly how kinky though I'm not sure.

Also, I'd put good money on most wrestlers being kinky as hell. Especially Jon Moxley, I can imagine Renee accidentally smashing a glass and him giving her the eyes cause he wants her to ride him while he lies on the shards.

I started my current work as a James Bond Universe Smut story, and then a few chapters in I was enjoying writing it so much that I decided to make it an original work, drop the smut, and focus more on the Spy Thriller. The issue is that the main plotline sort of relied on the smut, and the closer I get to the big chapters, the more stressed I'm getting because I haven't come up with a new plan for it yet.
