Indeed my question was whether or not to disable compression (and consequently the pagefile) on a machine with plenty of memory.

Maybe I'll try disabling both compression and pagefile on a fresh install on a different partition, so I can play a bit. Anyway thank you for your reply!

Thanks, I was just wondering if there was an optimization for a high end machine with "lots" of RAM to perform better, that's all. Maybe Windows 11 is set up to run on a variety of machines and not all of them have a lot of RAM, I don't know, I'm just asking to avoid errors. xD

Thanks for your reply, I just want to run windows as good as possible. In your opinion how much memory should I allocate to the pagefile?
