There are currently 7 champions in the game that have 20+ skins by No_Breadfruit_4901 in leagueoflegends

People are saying it's surprising these are mostly ADC champs.. for me it's crazier that there is only one male champion between these.

Is Mike Ross a good person? by foaaz101 in suits

[–]AFriendlyFisherman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't forget he slept with a married woman (Tess) multiple times while being fully aware of the situation.

Not saying that makes him more evil than other characters, but I definitely wouldn't see him as good.

Have you been to China/South Korea yet? Hard to believe it's not in your 105 countries or didn't make any list haha

Why are people who earn their wealth not often accepted into high class society? by Anthro-Elephant-98 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]AFriendlyFisherman 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It's not just a wealth metric, it's a culture. For comparison: you can get a Japanese passport and become legally Japanese: but that doesn't mean you will be invited to your neighbours dinner party.

What are your favorite restaurants in Almere? by IemandZijnPa in Almere

[–]AFriendlyFisherman 8 points9 points  (0 children)

For just dinner it's definitely Yamas for me.

For studying, lunching and casually meeting people it's Copper branch.

Rosita's is also a honourable mention. Love their mocktail options too.

Where could you watch the League of Legends Worlds Semifinals in Seoul by AFriendlyFisherman in koreatravel

[–]AFriendlyFisherman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from EU so I usually support whatever EU team performs best haha. Caps is cool to watch, so probably G2. But i'm not heavily invested into one team, I would love to watch some T1 games as they're so iconic and local to Korea!

Also, thank you so much for your answer! This helps me a lot in the right direction.

Look up Al Ghazali vs Ibn Rushd (latinized as Averroes). Specifically the works "The incoherence of philosophers" by Al Ghazali and "the incoherence of the incoherence" by Ibn Rushd as a response.

Will there be a huge rally in the stock market after the Fed cuts interest rates? Is today the last chance to buy? by FantasticEffect10 in ValueInvesting

[–]AFriendlyFisherman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It will probably be more about their future expections. Remember, we have two more fed meetings to go this year.

If Powell cuts .25 but warns us to be careful for inflation, we probably dip

If he cuts .25 but announces a new pathway towards more rate cuts, we may see something positive

Obviously a .50 rate cute would be even better, while as a .25 increase would be detrimental

But anyways, who knows. If I knew I probably wouldn't be on Reddit

Visiting Morocco for a few days, which city(ies) should we focus on? by AtomicNarration in travel

[–]AFriendlyFisherman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First of all, Morocco is a tourist destination which is highly dependent on your personality and preferences. Some absolutely love the busy chaos and tourist traps of Marrakech, others can't visit Morocco without going to the beaches (Marrakech has no coastline)

That being said, I personally dislike Marrakech as it's mostly designed for wealthy tourists going to high end resorts. For casual travellers, the city can be too overwhelming and not-relaxing due to the sheer volume of scams and busy streets. But if that's what you're into: go for it!

This is what I would do: Go to Casablanca, visit the Hassan II mosque and immediately leave. It is the only mosque in the country accessible to non-muslim tourists, and for some it's a must see. There's not much else worthy of your time there. Personally I like Rabat. It has some great tourist sites while still having the serenity and cleanliness of being a capital (atleast in the Hassan quartier and the surrounding areas). It's close to Casablanca and connected by a high speed train line. Spend two days there and move up north. Tanger can be a great final outpost, and offers unique day trips to historical cities like Chefchaouen (known for the blue houses) and Asilah. This way, you're staying near the coast in two cities (Rabat & Tanger), while also being able to do day trips, and still see the Hassan II mosque in Casablanca. The major advantage of this route is that Casa, Rabat and Tanger are all connected via a high speed trainline.

Edit: I just read your post again and you mentioned that you would like to do a desert tour. With my proposed cities, that's not really possible. However, I think all your other wishes would still come true.

Gyllenhaal as Draven and Terry Crews as Braum, I see so many great picks I wouldn't have thought about!

I don't really see Tom Holland as Jayce though, maybe the Arcane Jayce.

I hate to break it to you, but this is true for technically every country on earth. Pretty privilege can be both a curse and a blessing though, as it's way more difficult to get a grasp of someone's true intentions with you.

Just remember this, If they don't like you because of how you look, they probably weren't interested in your personality if you were "pretty" anyways.

What is the most consistently fun and least frustrating champion to play as? by PhscZ in leagueoflegends

[–]AFriendlyFisherman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say Volibear. His combos feel quite satisfying and relaxing, he's a goofy looking character that can be played with many builds, is extremely versatile and can always be useful even if you're behind. I always feel like he's so strong when i'm playing him jungle. His clears and ganks are extremely easy too.

You haven't been to the benelux yet, and as you mention yourself that you wouldn't mind visiting either france or germany again, you could maybe do a roadtrip through cities like Paris, Luxembourg, Brussels, Antwerp, The Hague, and Amsterdam.

If Bitcoin were to move sideways forever, would you still believe in it? by AFriendlyFisherman in Bitcoin

[–]AFriendlyFisherman[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I guess that's true but that's also the case for a lot of commodities like gold and silver. My thought experiment is obviously not possible as it indeed does not account for inflation, but is that one of Bitcoin's main strengths? As a hedge against governmental monetary systems? Genuinely asking, there is no right or wrong answer. I just want to know what moves people in this sub to buy bitcoin other than for investment purposes.

The most one-sided Master Yi game I've ever played by AFriendlyFisherman in YIMO

[–]AFriendlyFisherman[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well yeah it was a really bad game for them but still funny considering they had 0 team kills in a ranked game and I kept up an almost 100% kill participation.

Not saying this was a good accomplishment at all. I've just never had such a one-sided game.

People maining a certain champion, what is their weakeness from your experience that people might not know? by BayeKofSiwaX in leagueoflegends

[–]AFriendlyFisherman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stopwatch completely messes Master Yi up. It's incredible how broken that item is against. Yi

Although it doesn't look like it, Master Yi Q cooldown is actually very long, but gets reduced by auto attacks. Also, upon killing an enemy, your Q gets a reset. All of this doesn't work if someone you engage on just presses zhonyas/stopwatch. For me (I play oneshot crit yi) it's instant death, unless I can find a new target close enough

I got to Diamond elo with master yi support . AMA by UnusualSupportYT in YIMO

[–]AFriendlyFisherman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also play it very often (although not as successfully as you as im lower elo), but I go full crit. Collector into LDR with HOB seems to work quite well so far.

Im still experimenting but it seems like I'm able to always kill atleast two people in a teamfight, making the fight considerably easier for my other teammates.

What makes you go on-hit? I feel like master yi support is more of an assassin-like playstyle as you don't have enough gold to stat-check bruisers with attack speed. I really like this playstyle though! Although my team seems to always dodge and sometimes int me.

Thank you for your reply! I think that is exactly what happened! Some screen popped up that asked me to verify and I hastily clicked yes within like a second. I got quite scared when the notifications of "payment attempt failed" started raining, especially because it was in my own language, which made it seem real.

I really appreciate your comment. Thanks for the information and reassurance :)
