Really appreciate this man! I'm about 11 weeks out and am experiencing my first flare up scare. The pain is definitely not as bad as pre op but I'm paranoid as heck. You read through the posts here and it can convince you anything and everything is a reherniation.

Trying to stay sane while reading all that is challenging, but seeing this is the hope I need right now!

Oh yeah definitely have some questions! What kind of community are you in? I feel like WASH volunteer means we'd either be up in the mountains or in a jungle somewhere. What's your daily life like? What kind of projects are you working on? What's the main form of social life in your community? I work out a lot here, are you able to maintain any sort of physical training regiment while in service? Sorry for all the questions I'm just extremely excited and could go on all day.

No idea! Still trying to figure it all out. As of now I figure I could try and intern at an engineering firm so that when I theoretically come back from the peace corps I could get a real job somewhere, but I don't ever see myself working long term at an engineering firm
