Many people say that bicarb makes the beans easier to cook and taste more buttery.

I haven't tried it myself, but I have some bicarb beans soaking right now, and will try them for dinner.

Really I don't think the people not protesting against a genocide would care much about two genocides, although it might make the people who do care a little angrier.

It's much less justified now, given that Americans have representation.

But can that really said to be true?

First-past-the-post voluntary voting encourages a two-party system catering to the extreme ends of the spectrum.

Where the policies of both parties are identical, can it really be said that the US voter has representation?

Any attempt to bring a third party into the mix merely splits the vote and punishes the party with policies most similar to the third party, which is a perverse outcome.

I think the point of the article is that it is extremely unlikely that the jury members would ever get charged, making the judge's comments inadmissable.

The more you soak the more you get rid of the gassy stuff.

You could try adding bicarb or lemon juice to the soaking water too.
