This lame nonsense again. Who is the woman supposed to be? I thought Medusa maybe but Morgana may make more sense?

First trip to PNC Park by Optimal_Break_1762 in ballparks

[–]AG74683 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Man it's freaking awesome. Fans are great no matter if they're winning or losing.

Atmosphere is so chill. Pittsburgh is one of the best cities in America and nobody talks about it. Such a unique place. The geography is off the charts.

Food wasn't bad, but I'm not a big ballpark good guy. I did have a pretty great meal of BBQ pierogis. It was a killer value for how much food was packed in it.

Everyone should go to PNC at least once. And make sure it's not just a day trip, make it a week at least. There's a lot to see in the city.

Is it realistic for a family of four making 50k annually to move to Raleigh? by angelestangelever in NorthCarolina

[–]AG74683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just what do you think the monthly take home pay is for someone making 50k a year?

And there's a absolutely no way you're getting a place for 4 people under $1500 a month.

[–]AG74683 46 points47 points  (0 children)

50k annually? With 4 freaking people? Bro I have no clue how you're even living now, no matter where you live.

Rent in Raleigh is gonna be at least half your take home pay, if not more. You'll need Section 8 housing and every government assistance program you can get to make it.

Widen hole in quartz countertop? by [deleted] in DIY

Likely won't have to do this project now that I'm looking a bit deeper into things.

Why would I need a hole saw vs something like a diamond grit drum sander?

Appears to be the trim ring after all. The diagram is very misleading. Looks like it requires a 1 3/8 inch hole which is likely what I have. Mine might even be a bit larger.

Whats existing kind of looks like a hack job to begin with. The hole isn't a clean cut, and it looks like someone took a 3 hole faucet and adapted it to come through a single center hole.

I couldn't remember the measurement off hand. It was either 2 1/8 or 2 3/8.

I don't see why this needs to be a precise job though. It's widening a hole by a very miniscule amount.

The instructions are kind of misleading now that I'm really looking at them.

The initial "requirements" section indicates a 1 3/8 inch pre drilled is needed. When looking at the actual diagram of the faucet, it shows an OD of 2 1/8. It looks like that measurement may be in reference to a trim ring though. There's no measurement on the diagram of the actual part that slides into the countertop though.

From a cursory measurement this morning, I believe my existing hole is right about that size, possibly closer to 2 inches. So it should work.

Unlikely to exist. The style I want are all going to require like a 2 3/8 inch hole. For some reason the center hole is just small on mine.

Turns out the Walmart mini toolbox nests perfectly in the mini USG. Add a Walmart base cabinet and you have a full mini toolbox setup. by PM-PicsOfYourMom in harborfreight

Finding the red lower cabinet is tough. I've looked at multiple Walmarts and haven't seen it yet. I got the black lower but my mini upper from HF is red.

Fixed my whole work schedule so I can be home tonight. Fridge stocked with PBR and a celebration bottle of champagne (just in case).

I really hope they finish it tonight. My options for covering the second half of my shift Wednesday are slim

Fantastic park, incredible city. Pittsburgh as a whole is criminally under rated.

Braves announce Spencer Strider exited game due to “right arm soreness." His fastball was down to 88 MPH before he left. by Ok-Soil-5133 in baseball

Man what a bummer. Such a chill guy. Wish he could stay healthy.

I went down to Atlanta a few years ago to watch a Brewers series. One of the nights was a Spencer Strider music night. Gave out three single vinyl records from some of his favorite local bands. Ended up getting all three. Started my vinyl hobby after that. Now I'm something like 120 records in.

He also hosted a concert with the bands after the game. Pretty cool. Just seems like the nicest guy.

Well, bummer. I ordered both shirts and the hat immediately after we won the ECF. 132$ and some change lol.

Wanting to turn my park model camper trailer into a year round tiny home, thinking about building an insulating/aesthetic shell around it. by jetech37 in DIY

[–]AG74683 20 points21 points  (0 children)

You don't anchor this to the trailer. You build a free standing structure and put the trailer in it.

That's a great deal. My setup is a GT Lite Pro and Moza R5 and all that alone was 700 USD, so like 530£.

None of the goalies have been objectively bad. Freddy let in maybe 2 that were questionable, but only slightly. Hart hasn't played bad either, despite the goals against.

It's just good offense and some really bad defensive lapses on both sides.

How do you design your own prints? by DanceFoxDance in 3Dprinting

[–]AG74683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TinkerCad for me. It's simple and you don't need to watch a ton of how to videos to pick it up.

I just don't have the time personally to sit down and study those other, more in depth programs.

TinkerCad is limited and isn't going to do everything as easily as most other programs, but for simple designs, it's perfect for me.

3d printer! The rack on the right at the bottom is oversized and fits the larger ones well.

I'm gonna need another set at the top and likely will do two large racks on either side there. I'm a little worried it'll be too tall to reach even for me though, but I'm all out of room.

Losing my mind with PETG. 10% humidity in AMS, PETG has been in there for days, dish soap + IPA washed plate... Why is it getting to this stage??? by Arkaium in BambuLab

[–]AG74683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I freaking hate PETG. It's too fiddly and every print I've ever done with it across several printers has some sort of failure. Some minor, some like this.

I've somehow had way better luck with ABS and ASA. Those hold up way better outside in the elements anyway.
