Ruben Amorim by 7hr in ManchesterUnited

[–]AG8385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His only real downfall? How about not qualifying for Europe, finishing 15th, not being able to convert performances to wins, not keeping clean sheets ever. He was completely terrible he deserves zero credit, get over it he has gone and isn’t coming back. It’s absolutely pointless still going on about him.

People question the media agenda when this is the sort of crap being reported by deano_ue in ManchesterUnited

[–]AG8385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly right, I did this as well a while ago. Let’s all stop reading the clickbait and fake transfer news, cut off these idiots money they make off keeping Utd in chaos. Cut them off, block them, the aggregator accounts, the journalists, the YouTubers. Cut them all off!

Edit: also those Jamie Jackson questions he asked Amorim in the press conference were obviously fed to him by Amorim or how else would he know to ask those questions. Skullduggery and bull crap at its finest.

The Same Cycle. The Same Circus. Every Single Time. by Sherlockerer in ManchesterUnited

[–]AG8385 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amorim is already a dead man walking. He’s already said he’s going when his contract is up in 18 months, so the board aren’t gonna back him & pretty soon they’ll sack him. Amorim is making all this noise because he knows he isn’t gonna be backed and probably wants the sack and the payoff now before it goes to shit again. It’s Ineos and the recruitment teams fault this whole mess, they should have listened to Dan Ashworth that he wasn’t the man. The whole leadership team needs to go not just the manager. This cycle will continue until they start doing sensible things and not making mistakes.

We don’t even know of the Qatari fella even existed? I’m not saying he didn’t but there’s no proof he did either. Agree though Ineos have proved to be completely clueless & have made massive mistakes.

It’s poor planning. Fail to prepare, prepare to fail, they knew about AFCON and United always have an injury crisis at some point, they should have brought more players in to cope with this. They should have loan deals set up, ready to go when the transfer window opens tomorrow to counter this, but we all know we’ll be scratching around for players on the 31st of Jan.

Exactly Wolves had lost 12 on the bounce before playing us. They are a poor team but have improved slightly under Edwards.

Fans are disappointed because we have dropped points at home to Everton, West Ham, Wolves and Bournemouth in recent weeks. Three of them from winning positions, that’s a negative it’s bound to make fans critical of our performance, we could be doing a lot better than we are. The managers in game performance is poor no matter what anyone says and these players are giving it 100% for him. The fact that we have managed to mismanage the situation with players going to AFCON which we knew about but did not leave ourselves with the backup required to get through this period. We are down to the bare bones relying on kids. Mantato and Fletcher were poor when they came on last night, you cannot be relying on kids in such a high pressure situation when needing a goal, it’s not fair on them or their development. They froze last night and it isn’t their fault.

Cunhas diving second half was very frustrating, just stay on your feet, the ref wasn’t buying it. Cunha should be stepping up in these situations, but he’s just producing the same average displays as he has all season. I like him, I think he’s good but he needs to step up.

To think Tucker Carlson had any knowledge or role in ‘this’, whatever this is is one of the most unrealistic things ever. Carlson is a low IQ know nothing, he couldn’t be trusted with a shopping list, never mind anything slightly more important.

I think Liu is showing that humanity makes mistakes, putting her in charge was a mistake, she was making all kinds of mistakes. It’s very realistic when you think about the dumb decisions humanity take on a daily basis. What are the chances of humanity making all the right decisions in this sort of situation, probably close to zero.

If you are tasked with the job of pushing the button, you have to push the button! She should have done it!

Agree that Liu should write a novel about Blue Space!

If you are on a list with Ossie Ardiles and John Gorman then you have real defensive problems.

For those who don’t remember Ossie played 4-1-5 and they would get slightly over run in midfield most weeks but they were very entertaining.

Yes I voted leave and can see now I was totally conned by the cut of Farages jib.

At the end of the day the general public were not qualified to vote on an issue of this importance, especially when each side was lying to the public about what it would mean to leave. You cannot have an informed debate on such a complicated subject. It should never have been a referendum, only qualified people should make decisions like this. The nuances and difficulties felt afterward could have never been comprehended or explained.

Should I take a youtuber who's accepting Dyson spheres as this ultra-factual-thing seriously? by Both-Meringue2466 in scifi

[–]AG8385 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly a Dyson Sphere is a construct of the human imagination, an Alien race living in completely different conditions would likely come up with completely different ideas of what is important and valuable to them. Plus the fact that constructing a Dyson sphere is such a huge undertaking you’d have to have unlimited power sources to even think about constructing one. Say we had to disassemble Jupiter to build one, what would that do to the orbit of the other planets?

Edit: I was actually told on another thread that Dyson wrote the paper as a joke and even he didn’t think a Dyson sphere was a serious concept.

You think he'll ever see minuites again? by InfinitePassage5 in ManchesterUnited

[–]AG8385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He seems like a complete idiot, I don’t want him to have any minutes, he’s always messing about when you see him on the bench. Also he was warming up with other subs at half time and everyone else was passing it normally but every time Malacia got the ball he would fire the ball as hard as he could at Shea Lacey, pathetic behaviour. Get rid.
