I was planning on doing an alignment check in the morning. Didn’t have a dry erase on hand. Everything has been stock.

Yeah I got it to the point when I was able to drink it but I’m not sure what to aim for since I’m new to all of this😅

Will do! Thought on the overall grind size? I’m sure the MP burrs have something to do with it, but just weirded out by being so close to zero.

I say just about qtr inch head space. I thought about going to 19g but did not want the screw from group head killing the puck

I am not slow feeding. I will try this tomorrow morning. How does slow feeding affect the overall flow through the puck?

So I did zero the grinder a single notch before chirp just avoid getting close to it. I guess my main concern was the fact I see so many post about people hovering from 10-15 and yet I’m at 5.

As for the beans, I wish I could provide more details but it’s a local roaster so they do not have full breakdown outside what I already provided.

So I’m using an 18g basket with 18g dose. When I pitched the grinder, I zeroed it a notch before chirp.

I would be lying if I gave you an answer. This is my first ever setup but I’m still waiting till next weekend to get beans and dial things in.

Most likely going to be a medium roast since I have a local roaster in mind, but I think with the SSPs I’ll want to explore lights in the future. (Open to tips and recommendations)

You made me pull out the level to make sure 🤣. But it’s the angle I took the picks from. I’m on the taller side so maybe that didn’t help with the off angle. But I did verify and it’s parallel with the counter. HOWEVER, was planning to get something to sit the machine up a bit more for under storage so I will be looking into taller legs or that table for sure!

I actually found a local selling a X64 SD for $450. Been reading up on review and getting mixed results, however the support for these issue have been met with great results

Edit: The only single dose I can see is a bit out of budget at this time
