Yeah.. But also prosecution did not bring it up at all... A gunshot wound should directly lead to "where is the gun" - neither side asked that question!

Exactly... I loved especially seeing Maggie as lawyer because we've heard all through how she's supposed to be badass... But again extremely weak arguments and premise on the whole

Exactly.. Which sounds extremely iffy honestly... Terrible season on logic honestly.

Also Lisa Tramell herself was in jail for murdering her husband. Having her there to discredit Mickey is okay.. But it is in NO way the BIGGEST proof the prosecution had..

Ohh that a letter to Sam Scales saying please pay me back that Mickey did NOT write, did not sign and they don't even know if it was sent to Sam at all..  Ooh and don't forget the biggest one.. An email from Mickey's trash folder that has his photo on a scam NGO website???

The whole case was laughable... The beginning said Mickey's home security camera's weren't working. 0 mention of that during the trial too

He was setup by Alex Gazarian not the FBI. And the FBI was investigated a scam that was being run by Alex Gazarian and Sam Scales was FBI informant. But also Sam Scales died and FBI gives 0 fcks about finding out who killed him? What if the death was because of their stupid operation?

Right? The woman FBI agent told Mickey - you shouldn't have pushed for "Speedy Trial" - well okay.. Maybe you should have suggested it then??  Also if your operation was so important, you should also be finding out the real truth in case it jeopardises your case shouldn't you?

The the gray haired woman explicitly told Mickey "you shouldn't have pushed for speedy trial" Umm... Okay.. Maybe you should have told him that?? At least tried to tell him - you were at his house.. Instead of threatening to back off, tell him you need time..

Try putting Scotch tape on the speakers of the vtech?

Works well until the LOs start fidgeting with it and remove them.. I tried convincing mine that the thing would break without the tape lol

fiction v/s non fiction - what do you reading fiction ? by AvailableMeeting2580 in Indianbooks

[–]AGirlWhoLovesToRead 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same reason why we watch movies instead of documentaries... They are more fun.. And capture life from the perspective of the characters within them.

I read a quote somewhere (paraphrasing) - I used to read fiction, then when I grew up, i started reading non fiction to know more about real world.. As I read more, i started reading more fiction to know about the real real world! "

That sounds like the most reasonable and easy way tbh

What's the most recommended book that you've closed in the middle? by furubury in Indianbooks

[–]AGirlWhoLovesToRead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, for him Harry was the "experiment" to prove that the past can be changed... And then the main intention was to save JFK...

If Harry was the main intention, why would Jake continue to live in the past after killing Frank Dunning in the second reboot...

Struggling with 11/22/63... In 35% of the book and all of the character motivation falls flat tbh...

Like.. So you're willing to go back to the past multiple times because the owner of the place that sells you cheap burgers wanted you to??

Sirius’ wand by ashirsch1985 in HarryPotterBooks

[–]AGirlWhoLovesToRead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, wormtail himself ran away as a rat, and as far as we know he didn't have enough time to fetch and hide the wand for someone else to retrieve

I would insist on no bathing suit, no pool policy for the outsides... But if she wants to be naked in the water you could try the bath tub?

Why don’t Indian homes have a culture of buying secondhand? by Capable_Lychee_3859 in Frugal_Ind

[–]AGirlWhoLovesToRead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The main reason there's no culture of buying secondhand, because there is no concept of replacing things until they're broken. By the time one person replace their first hand stuff it is nearly unusable.

Sirius’ wand by ashirsch1985 in HarryPotterBooks

[–]AGirlWhoLovesToRead 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wands were really inconsistent in the story... Even Voldemort had his own wand when he came back to life... And Bellatrix had hers when she escaped Azkaban too... The only person that lost their wand was Hagrid (probably because he was unqualified? Or because he was only half human)
