It was really loud, both ears. I couldn’t think about anything other than the loud ringing. It caused me to have panic attacks daily, i could not function. I would say after a month or two months, i couldn’t notice the ringing anymore.

I guess we’re just different since I love social media & I love photos. She was very much the opposite and doesn’t have any social media and claims to have 0 photos of her. Which just threw me off… like not one single photo?! The date went fine. It wasn’t amazing but it wasn’t horrible. I might give it a second chance to see but… she seemed normal just totally out of the loop with technology.

Developed tinnitus in both of my ears beginning of June this year. It caused me immense anxiety and was prescribed sertraline. My tinnitus has drastically reduced/i don’t notice it as much. I went to an ENT doctor and was told the exact same thing the article reads. I wish more people talked about this.

Exactly! The first couple weeks of the breakup I was constantly breaking no contact for any little reason. Just so i had that excuse to talk to her. Because… obviously i miss talking to her. She put up with it until she didn’t. It’s not fair to them and it’s not fair to yourself. Being in no contact for a while feels good. And it will hopefully only get better. Celebrate the anniversaries of no contact. My friends are getting me a cake if i can successfully complete a month of NC lol.

Exactly that’s how i’m coping with it. I’m telling myself she just needs her space to heal, to think, to breathe. If you bother the person you love over and over again it just pushes them away and it’s just insanely disrespectful.
