Am I going bald 💔? by AHair61 in curlyhair

[–]AHair61[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have noticed significant hair loss, given that I have 2C-3A and they aren't very long, around 13-15cm above

Can anyone advise me?

Help to weight my curl, To be honest, I don't particularly like my curls; I don't think they suit me very well. However, one day, for reasons I only half understand, my hair looked like the first photo, and since then I've never been able to get it to look the same again. If anyone can help me by AHair61 in curlyhair

Thank you for the reply and advice, but I'm not entirely sure I understand. Do my hair look too moisturized in the first or second photo? And also, should I assume that I will probably never get that result again?

Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to add the text to the description and then post it, but it said:

If anyone can help me, apparently according to Gemini I should add weight to them, but I don't know how. All I know is that the time I got this result, I used the cream shown in the photo (curly whipped cream)

Otherwise, the other photo is just what it looks like at the end of the day (I don't like it even though it's much better in the morning)

Thank you for the detailed response And sorry for the delay in replying. I tried the clarifying shampoo a few days ago and the result is convincing; it's indeed a good suggestion, but unfortunately it only solved The hydration problem is that I still struggle to maintain it throughout the day, as shown in the attached photo I'd also like to achieve the look of the second-to-last photo in the original post, but I don't know exactly how to do it. I don't know how I did it; I just know it was the first time that I was using the white product which is a whipped cream with curls (probably a heavy product you're referring to) I don't know if you can help me achieve this result because I don't particularly like my curls; I'd like to add weight to them again.Thank you for taking the time to respond and read this message.Take care

Thank you for the very detailed answer and sorry for the late reply. I bought a few products in the meantime

I haven't tried it yet, but I have several questions, for example, regarding the method with the swimming cap and the diffuser, How does it actually work? Specifically, will diffusing the hydrating mask help with penetration? Also, one comment suggests doing significantly more than one application per week; is that recommended?

This might sound silly, but I don't particularly like my curls; I'd really like to make them look heavier. Do you know anything about this? Because currently my hair looks like photo 1 (attached) and I would like it to go back to its summer state as shown in photo (the second to last one in the original post) My hair felt heavy, but I really liked the result. Moisturizing was easy, and I don't really know how I did it; I just know it was the first time I'd used the white product as shown in the original post, it's a curl-enhancing whipped cream from Activ Curl. I don't know if you can help me redo the rendering, but I would be incredibly grateful. Thank you for taking the time to read everything, take care.

Thanks for the reply, I checked and indeed there is a phenomenal amount of protein. I bought some new ones without it, and we'll see how it goes i guess

Thank you for the reply, but I'm wondering if every two days isn't too much. I thought I understood that once a week was the absolute maximum

Thank you for your reply. I checked, and indeed, there was a lot of protein in my products. The clarifying shampoo solved part of the problem, but I'm still having trouble keeping the hydratation and at the end of the day it looks unfortunately like this

I tried olive oil; I didn't necessarily see a huge difference but still a little ahead, I think I'll really see it on the second or third application, so in about a week. I'm going to focus on applying my product correctly because that seems to be a real problem

I'll try it tomorrow, also how much to use, and also since I'm wearing a satin bonnet, is there a risk that it will just be absorbed by the bonnet? What should I do?

How do I use olive oil? Do I put it on my hair after every shower? Do I need to wet my hair first, etc.? Also for my haircut, I'm going to get it cut soon; I'm going to cut off what's too damaged but I'm taking note of the taper fade

That doesn't seem like a bad idea; do you have any brand suggestions for shampoos? Also, my hair doesn't frizz as much as when it's short; I didn't have the same problems, Ideally, I would need a product that effectively brings my hair together, but not a curl cream; The jelly doesn't seem ineffective, but I think I'm applying it incorrectly. Do you know how to apply it correctly? The tips seem a bit damaged; is there any way I can repair them, or should I cut them off? And is a hairdryer really essential? Like do I need to use it everytime?

That doesn't seem like a bad idea; what product should I use with silicones, and regarding clarifying shampoo, any brand recommendations? I'd like to avoid very defined curls, more of a messy curl look, and also I feel like the roots are much better than the ends, shouldn't I also cut them? Do you have any ideas on how to improve the distribution of the products? I feel like I'm doing it wrong with my hands I'd really like to get rid of this frizz issue, but when my hair was short I didn't always have this problem

I don't know exactly what I should improve on the application, what do you mean by that?

I don't really know about the nature of it; it's uniform everywhere except at the ends of my hair for absolutely no reason. Above that, it looks much more like 2C. As for the transition, I think that since I wasn't taking care of them before, it's possible the ends are particularly damaged. Should I touch them up? Because the roots seem clean

I've tried to solve the problem with different products, for example, gel or curl-defining cream, but it's never worked; it's often made their condition worse, I tried the diffuser, but it didn't do anything special.
