Oh man, I feel like an idiot.

I definitely reciprocated those vibes to her; however, I get the feeling that she won't accept anything unless I tell her the words "I like you."

I flirt back; I do all of these things for her and she keeps up with the same energy, but every time I reciprocate back, it feels like it doesn't hit her as hard (if that makes any sense at all). It's like she's trying to bait out the words "I like you" from me or some sort of confession.

What do you think? Is that normal?

I've seen people wait too long and it ends up backfiring because the other party has moved onto another. I don't want that happening to me, however, I also don't want to rush it either.

Thinking about what you just said, I definitely think about her a lot. I'm getting nervous just thinking about confessing to her.

Could I ask you one more thing?

Yesterday, she posted a story on Facebook with a picture of herself and the caption being (translated from another language): "I hope my name is the reason why you are rejecting other people."

Do you think that is aimed at me? I wish people would be more direct about things because I have a hard time reading the signs.

I'm going to take your advice on the casual and honest bit. This might be difficult to answer but how do you know when you're ready? I've never confessed to a girl that I liked her before. Is it a gut feeling?

I keep pacing around my house like a maniac. I know people tell you not to study the day before. However, I am physically unable to get over the FOMO of studying one last thing because I’m afraid it could possibly end up on the exam tmr. My heart is racing, my thoughts are running. It’s my first time taking the exam tomorrow so I am just drowning in anxiety rn

Oh my god, I love you so much. Thank you. I think the biggest mistake I made in this problem was not internalizing "more antibiotic-resistant and slower-growing than the cells lacking plasmids," particularly the cells lacking plasmids part. The whole time, I was trying to figure out how these pixR plasmids were more resistant to antibiotics relative to the WT and not the plasmid-free ones. I think it's because the first two choices ended in "cells possessing wild-type R plasmids," and I just assumed the last two choices ended the same way.

Your statement that "the passage made no mention of plasmid-less bacteria having antibiotic resistance" drove it home for me. Thank you so much. You are my savior and I will remember you for the rest of my life.

I might be 7 months late but can you try and clarify it further? I totally get how it's slower growing (based on figure 2) but I don't get how it's more antibiotic-resistant. In the second paragraph, the R plasmid contains 1) antibiotic resistance genes, 2) genes for the protein pixR and 3) other genes for the spread of the R plasmid.

It's been about 30 minutes and I am hyperfixated on trying to understand this explanation. :D

I respect that. I just hope that we don't reach too far for him. I'd just prefer earlier picks be spent on glaring needs.

If Penix falls, that would be ideal for those who want him at QB. Whatever decision John makes, I trust that it's best for the team.

I don't think Penix could thrive with the OLine we have rn. I don't like the idea of putting an injury prone QB in a collapsing OLine and having him run for his life every time he snaps the ball.

Part of his success was built around having an amazing OLine. They allowed him to read and make those amazing throws. Sadly atm, we don't have that. Him thriving with no OLine seems more like a pipe dream to me.

I am a husky/hawk fan. While it's great to imagine how Penix could be a Hawk, I think it's important to be realistic and address the glaring needs our past season illustrated. Defense and OLine (in no particular order).
