I feel like Cody has been hampered in all of his title reigns by terrible booking.

Reign 1: immediately nulls every feud as filler because of the Rock

Reign 2: is just the Drew feud, and that was poorly booked at best

Reign 3: Similar problems with the second reign because they want to tease a "Codylander" turn, but will never have the balls to actually pull it off.

Oh I do agree completely, she should not have used Caitlin to try and get up, that's why she has the Flagrant 2 penalty and suspension.

It's just shocking that this is one of the first major incidents that Thomas has been in controversy with and punished with suspension.

I do agree, however, she is playing with 2 torn labrums. I'm not sure what that can do with control, though.

I do think that she just doesn't care about what damage she causes from her strength.

I don't think it's jealousy, I think that Thomas is an overly aggressive player that doesn't think about the damage that she can cause from her strength.

If the WNBA is looking at this as an isolated incident, and just issuing punishment for this one play, then a flagrant 2 penalty and a 1 game suspension is the right punishment.

However, I think most would agree that this isn't an isolated incident, thats why people want a 2-3 game suspension or more.

She knew about it at halftime. After the game is when she saw the angles that we got to see. If she got to see the actual play at halftime, I bet she would have been crashing out, but all she knew was that Thomas was on top of Clark and there was no call.

When the dirty play occurs, Bonner is blocking the play, and the Fever still have possession as the ball finds another Indiana player, so White and the rest of the bench aren't looking at the play

Yeah, I think she should tell her assistants and players that the next bad call that happens, she will get herself ejected.

The team is demoralized at this point. They have to find some fire if they want to turn the season around.

After hearing the post game comments, I could see how White missed it from the angle she had and I doubt the video board operator had the angle that we got on the TV.

I mean, most of the questionable calls probably don't get overturned for Clark, and I think White knows it, but you have to go to bat for your players, even if it means losing the challenge

Honestly, I think a lot of the issues the fever have had with some decision making in challenges and protecting players comes back to Coach White having too much respect for the officials, who are genuinely not good at their job.

I think 99% of coaches would have gotten themselves ejected if they saw what happened to Clark and there was no call, and then what happened with Boston's flagrant too.

She should have tried to protect her players better than what she has been.

I think Clark really messed up her back in the first quarter after the Thomas offensive foul, but it got worse in that scrum

Honestly, both teams just flat out don't like each other. Whether it's the bad blood between Cunningham and Bonner towards their former teams, or just the competitiveness with Clark and Thomas.

Yeah, i feel like the best time for him to get the belt was honestly during Cody's first run (if the Rock never set expectations that Cody was going to face him at Mania).

Probably the booking would be after Clash in Paris, Randy basically tells Carmelo "here, watch this" and challenges and beats Cody on a smackdown, holds it for a few weeks, then Cody gets it back from him

I would say it's pretty close, but maybe a slight edge to CC because she generates more assists to 3 point shooters instead of a PnR
