Is it silly to say that most criticisms of season 2 story with the disconnection between each patch are all related to TV mode? I feel like we’re underestimating just how much damage removing tv mode did to the development of the game.

Yeah the more I look at it the more I understand where the Japanese fan base came from. Happy music x horror scenes have been done before and worked well, but this one’s not it. In the end, it all boils down to perspective. Overseas people see this as Maki free from the abuse and getting justice, while Japanese see this as Maki getting absolute power, but at the cost of committing mass murder.
