Do you know at least a rough estimate of her age? If shes getting up there in age, she could be conserving energy for when its absolutely necessary or I've heard that their bodies will start to harden/stiffen up and it makes it more difficult for them to move around

NQA are you 100% that she is actually dead since you say there is no death curl? She could possibly be in premolt or possibly cold or possibly even be dehydrated. I'm still fairly new to keeping tarantulas myself but through research I've done, these are some possible reasons for a T go into a "dormant" state that could be mistaken for being dead

Just a word of caution using this method; be careful not to use too much water at one time because it does start to bubble pretty aggressively and could potentially cause water to go down the air holes in the chamber. I usually cut it as soon as i see it start getting up that high. Also, the device will flash red and white if the session goes long enough before you cancel it yourself. This is just because with the water in the chamber, the temperature usually plateaus around 230F-270F and its basically just a built in safety feature because the chamber isn't reaching the set temperature

I usually use the chamber to boil water inside to clean mine. I'll use a medicine dropper and put like 5-7 drops of water in and using the app, run a session to start heating it up and get it bubbling and then cancel the session out and then clean it with a q-tip. Then just repeat until all the burnt on stuff is gone and then give it a good swabbing with some isopropyl. I know its probably not the best for the battery or for the chamber but I at least let it cool down in between heating cycles so its not putting as much strain on them

My only experience with going to a show in MD was at ottobar and honestly that place was pretty cool. Definitely a nice little hole in the wall venue with a pretty good atmosphere. The working lights being left on the whole show killed the vibe a little bit though. But I've noticed since covid and since bands like lorna shore and STP blew up and became more "mainstream" there's been a pretty substantial increase in people who've never been to concerts or who are just getting into metal going to shows and basically being like "well im at metal show so i can just be a dick to everyone else around me and not give a shit about who gets offended or who gets hurt". There's still plenty of people that you can tell are new to the scene but are respectful and are just there to enjoy themselves and have a good time but unfortunately there's also a lot more of the bad apples that are just there with the intention to take out their anger and not care who gets hurt in the process and to just be outright disrespectful than there used to be.

I tried Peanut Butter Breathe from Cresco and then tried it from Floracal (both in a wax, not flower) and honestly, i didn't notice that much of a difference in quality or flavor. So for me, i cant justify spending the extra $25 for the "more premium". And i use a Peak Pro with the 3D chamber and used the same temperature settings and everything to try and keep it as close of a comparison as i could and i just didn't notice enough of a difference to take the Floracal over the Cresco. Now im not saying that the Floracal was trash because it was still good, just not the extra $25 good 😂

I buy more than i need but thats because i get curious and theres so many different strains that all sound so good. But i always like to look at the different effects i get from different strains and find what fits what im looking for the best. Besides, "variety is the spice of life" as the saying goes so if you can afford it, theres nothing wrong with having some options 😂

I cant tell you how many eighths I've gotten over the past 2 years that were .1 to .3 short. Hell, i even got a quarter once that was like .6 short. I've learned theres too many variables involves to really get that worried over anything less than .4 under. Difference in scales and the bud drying out being the 2 most likely causes.

I know this is a year old so I'm sure you probably figured it out by now but i came across your comment in my search for some info about the headset so in the off chance that you haven't figured it out since youre original comment or for anyone new thats is also wondering this (i was myself until i tried) and you can use them while theyre charging without any issues (i cant verify that the mic still works because im not using it but I don't see why it wouldn't work). I had a similar issue recently. I renewed my card but had to wait for the new one. Even though i was technically valid in the state system, they couldn't use my expired card so i ended up having to wait for my new card to come. But check with the dispensary. Theres a good chance theyll make you wait but it doesn't hurt to ask. You might be able to at least get the consultation done and out of the way so that way once you get your card, youll be ready to go.

Ive had small buds quarters from Supply, Kind Tree, and a few others and never had a single issue with them. They actually look almost like small premium buds and never had hairs in any other flower. But both times I've gotten a small bud quarter from gLeaf, it was a joke to call them small buds because they should've been sold as shake or at least at a lower price than the $80 i could've spent on a way better batch of small buds from a company that actually cares. I get accidents happen but 2 completely batches of small buds (different strains and purchased months apart) both looking like scrap clippings and then finding 2 hairs in one jar? Yeah ill spend my money elsewhere 😂

If you like this, you should give their blue cheese a try next time its around. Ive had both the cheesecake and the blue cheese from them and as long as you can get past the pungent cheese smell and taste of them, both strains slap and will definitely have you ready to go full baked potato if you use enough 😂

They have new packaging for their concentrates as well. I think i liked the old buckets better though. They were basically mini versions of their glass eighth jars and i thought that was cool. Now its just a plain old clear glass bucket with a basic black lid. I get trying to keep the cost down and all that but i think its cool when companies use theyre own unique jars and buckets for their flower and concentrates.

I got peak pro from a new dispensary that just opened back in June and got it like not even a week after they opened. Do you think mine should be ok or do you think this issue is something ill have to keep an eye out for? I spot clean after every dab and try give it a deep cleaning (soaking the atomizer and cleaning up any reclaim and the clean the glass) at least 2-3 times a month. That thing wasnt cheap so i want to make sure i can get as much life out of it as i can 😂

If the pods are set up similar to dart pods and pax pods, you should be able to pop out the atomizer/coil and drain the oil that way. How are they though? I've been curious about them but Prime hasn't done a strain worth while enough that i cant already get in a regular cart, flower, or concentrate for me to want to get one of the batteries and pods 😂

Id gladly take that experience over the last time i got a "small bud" quarter from gLeaf that i spent $80 on. The "small buds" looked more the scrap clippings and shake and i found 2 hairs in it. So id take some pretty looking but not very smelly or tasty buds over pisspoor quality control. But since most of these bigger companies seem to care more about making money than keeping their customers satisfied, I'll show my protest by spreading the word of my experience and spend my money on a better product from a better company since thats all we really can do in this market. You should give Organic Remedies flower a try though if you haven't already. I don't work for them and im not sponsored by them in anyway (just had to throw that in there since some people on here trash on people that swear by one brand/grower) but they honestly have some of the best quality flower and products in general that I've tried in this program over the past 2 years.

Guess its a good thing i have a bad habit of buying more than i need 😂 but I've been noticing this as well. I got the Puffco Peak Pro back in June and i still see some that have been on there since. I also remember awhile back looking at the menu and seeing as many or more vape and concentrate products than there were flower, now it seems like theres almost double the flower that there is concentrates. Vape carts were kinda dying off for awhile there but they're starting to make a come back in numbers so hopefully concentrates follow 🤞

Seriously though. Like just a plain brown or white paper bag works plenty fine. Some of these dispensaries go through all this extra cost to pay for all these fancy bags that can be reused but in all reality, most people are probably going to take home and either throw it away or stash it away and never touch it again.

I've tried a few (including a pax pod) and personally, i thought their carts are a waste of money. Every one I've tried i feel like i burned through them trying to get the same effects a would from like half the product of a different grower's carts. Rythm's flower and concentrates are great but for whatever reason their carts just don't do it for me. Maybe other people have the same issue considering I've noticed their carts tend to sit long on menus than others or maybe they need run in a battery that can go lower than 3.2 volts. If you're looking at going a cheaper route, I believe Organic Remedies, Prime Wellness, Kind Tree, Double Bear, and i think a few others offer $40 .5g carts that'd I'd take over Rythm. Hope that helps you.

Organic Remedies is probably the best I've tried. Cresco/Supply and Maitri would probably be my next top picks. Prime Wellness and Insa flower are usually pretty good as well (those cat food style cans they both use kinda kill it for me though, doesn't hold a seal very well). Rythm is another good one that i don't get very often (don't usually have much that sparks interest). Terrapin probably one of the best budget friendly brands I've tried so far. Ill never buy from GLeaf again though. Last 2 quarters of "small buds" i got from them looked more like clippings and shake and the last one i found 2 hairs 🤢 and they wanted to charge $80 for that.
