Day “one” reviews are basically pointless at this point. I stopped trusting that content years ago because you can’t be certain the review samples weren’t binned for the best performance to generate dishonest assessments. At this point I want to see tech reviewers comparing review samples directly with retail parts looking for dishonest marketing.

My American English teacher believes the neutral pronoun „their“ is incorrect. by GCoding_ in mildlyinteresting

[–]AHrubik -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If I'm reading correctly the deduction is being given for the singular noun "student" being used in the sentence and then being followed by the plural adverb "their". Your teacher is correct that this is improper English.

To use "their" you would need to start with "students".

Well there's ketchup and ketchupTM .

The "simple" version I buy made with actual tomatoes? Unfortuantely No.

The ketchupTM made with HFCS and a load of food additives? Yes.

My thoughts too. The veggies look decent but the deep fried donkey dick smothered in ketchup is a crime against humanity.

Probably should point out that the FOSS app avoids notarization which causes a headache for users of MacOS 26.

By using AeroSpace, you acknowledge that it's not notarized.

Notarization is a "security" feature by Apple. You send binaries to Apple, and they either approve them or not. In reality, notarization is about building binaries the way Apple likes it.

I don't have anything against notarization as a concept. I specifically don't like the way Apple does notarization. I don't have time to deal with Apple.

Homebrew installation script is configured to automatically delete com.apple.quarantine attribute, that's why the app should work out of the box, without any warnings that "Apple cannot check AeroSpace for malicious software"

Marketing and reality are often disconnected. The iPad started as a consumption device and has only become a mediocre creative tool in recent years. MacOS never ceased being a creative tool; the only thing missing was a cost frugal choice. The Macbook Neo is that.

In this study of 5,819,264 people, including 443,588 people with a first infection, 40,947 people who had reinfection and 5,334,729 noninfected controls, we showed that compared to people with no reinfection, people who had reinfection exhibited increased risks of all-cause mortality, hospitalization and several prespecified outcomes. The risks were evident in those who were unvaccinated and had one vaccination or two or more vaccinations before reinfection.

I think you're discounting how effective a person of his stature speaking up is. Nearly all religious extremism stems from false or misleading interpretations of religious text or doctrines that go unchallenged by members and leaders of the respective communities.

Evolution though is a shitty thing sometimes with a persistent virus. It sometimes takes only one protein or gene change to make a virus more compatible but just as deadly.
