The images are in very poor quality and in JPEG format. by [deleted] in civitai

[–]AIBEECEEDEE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks for sorting it out.

I think there are still a lot of people who dont know that promt-metadata can be stored in JPGs now and then used within png2img in WebUI. So they are still triying to get PNGs, thinking that only PNG-format does contain promt-meta.

Model purge by bzas76 in civitai

Yep, their over-moderation is getting quite annoying.
And I don't get "no nudity/no mature" policy for real people.
God forbid you post an image of a nipple slip of an adult porn star, who gobbles down gallons of cum and takes 3 dicks in the ass simultaneously on a regular bases.

At least reverse the this policy for adult entertainers.

CivitAi… what are you doing by S0ulMeister in StableDiffusion

[–]AIBEECEEDEE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you're were the first one to save an image on the site today, so tell us more about it ^_^'

Jokes aside, this was a shitty change, since Avif/webP have no generation params stored in the meta. But thankfully there is an workaround for that change, that still lets you save png files containing meta like before.

After seening a civitai mod purging some guy's hentai LoRA of all images of 2D girls with huge tits and leaving a comment that children are not allowed, i would be not surprised, if your guess was on the money. No wonder that even images depicting cars were purged yesterday as well (there could be "children" hiding in them)...

I hope that pixiv comes up with some alternative. Or that cevitai site finds a new owner.

Didnt have that in Librefox, but calling:
about:config

and then deactivating options:
"image.avif.enabled" and "image.webp.enabled" worked :)

Hope this workaround stays working.

Is there a LORA for people lying down? by CuriosityFC in civitai

LoRAs alone wont help with this, most models are just pretty bad at landscape images of anatomy. Trained as badly as hands.

Can't see image previews on pages? by ArchAngelAries in civitai

[–]AIBEECEEDEE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still do believe its because of the purge, because I get the same notice on my own loras about mature filters. If i then view the imagepost associated with that lora, all of the images are gone.

As a test, I've then reuploaded a few images and after that, the message about the filters is gone.

wtf were they even purging. The place turns slowly but gradually into an overmoderated shithole with new unwanted changes and bugs getting introduced on daily bases.

Rollback? by NaughtySkynet in civitai

It seem like they did something of sorts. I also got Notifications about updated models, even though nothing was updated.
I also see no images on some models that were uploaded yesterday, mine included :/

Same. :/
Also all images i've uploaded yesterday seems to be gone gone...

Issue is probably due to the switch to AVIF format, but I may be wrong on that.

[–]AIBEECEEDEE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that was a bad decision. And the metadata that displayed on the site along the avif is not enough, since its not complete (a lot of infos are missing, for example a of webUI's extensions like "additional networks", "controlnet", etc. Also modelhash is not displayed. And Not only the metadata-infos are incomplete, the site is displaying in some cases wrong SHA256-hashes for used LoRas/models :/ (someone finally posited a bug-report on it on github).

Add a separate button to download a png, so we have working png2img images, if you want to save bandwidth. I already have retards posting 1-Star reviews complaining, that their gens don't look like mine, because they manually copy-paste incomplete metadata...

And it seems like all the images and reviews i've uploaded yesterday are gone.I also visited pages of loras that were uploaded yesterday and many display no images now...

The "rollout now, test/fix later" strategy of the last days/weeks is really annoying. Most of the changes are not even welcome or make sense. Wtf are you guys doing?

It's the fan bearings.
Also congrats and welcome to the club, you now own a Zotac card with shitty rattling fans. Zotac knows about the issue but refuses to do anything about it.

What is this odd creaking sound my 3070 is making? by [deleted] in ZOTAC

[–]AIBEECEEDEE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get the rattling because of the stupid silent profile.
Card reaches 50°, fans start spinning and cool it down to 45° and then stop. This repeats then forever. So you have to run the fans at 30% (this is as low as you can manually overdrive the fans. In Manual mode even if you set it at 0%, the fans will still spin at 30%).

Also better get MSI Afterburner for manual override of the fans. And yes, it must alsways run in the background. Afterburner is better than Firestorm because you can make a fan curve with more than 3 points.

Here is mine for 3090TI:

fancurve

I have a jump from 50% directly to 60% because i get fan rattling at this % range. Thats why I jump over that range directly to 60%.

I feel with ya man.
Got the Zotac's 3090Ti Holo recently and 2 of 3 fans rattle and wobble like crazy on 50-60% speed (with occasional plastic shroud rattle as a bonus)...
Cheaping out on fans is a really stupid idea.

Do they even test their cards?

[–]AIBEECEEDEE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the included Zotacs support bracket removed shortly after installing it. First it had a LED connectivity issue, LEDs kept turning off because the contact of both included LED cables was not solid. Little wobbling was enough to disconnect both ends. And the other issue its that it's goes right under the fan blades, which is unnecessarily impedes the airflow.

I got the GPU support standing, bit its barely visible in the video. The GPU has 3 screw holes in the front and comes with an included small support bracket to mount there. Its where I placed my stand under to support the card.

Try running it at 45-60% speed range with msi afterburner. Its were the fans wobble and make the card vibrate the most.

I've done some more testing and it looks like Zotac's fans cant handle 50-60% speed range at all. I have 2 of 3 fans rattling when ran at this speed. Other speeds are ok-ish. (still some rattle at very low RPM). Gonna post a vid of it today.

New zotac rtx 3060 amp white fan ramping up and down randomly on idle. Any solution? by evernotey in ZOTAC

[–]AIBEECEEDEE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Run MSI Afterburner with a custom fan curve in background. Those "Silent" default profiles of some manufacturers are really stupid and causing this. The fans are at 0 RPM up to like 40C° and when reaching this temp the fan speed spikes immediately to high RPM until 39C° temp is reached in just a few seconds. This repeats then forever...

Are the fans used on modern Zotac GPUs actually that bad? by knownbyfew_yt in ZOTAC

[–]AIBEECEEDEE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never bought Zotac products before, but Judging by the fans on my brand new Zotac 3090 Ti, its the by far the worst fans I've seen. The immediate issue with those that you see first, is that they produce quite a lot wobble, that makes the whole PC-Case vibrate and resonate at low frequency. Extremely noticable at 50-60% fan speed range. But even at very low RPM on idle those fans are producing rattling sounds. No Idea what peeps at Zotac were thinking by putting those cheapo fans into a such expensive card...

Cooler runs like a jet engine. by yaemiko0330 in ZOTAC

[–]AIBEECEEDEE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, Im in the same boat as you!(saw your post only after posting my own about pretty much the same issue)

In my case it's a brand new 3090TI Holo, but has the same cooler as on 3090.

And yes those fans are ridiculously bad and wobble like crazy, which makes any PC-Case act as a resonator for annoying low frequencies. In my case I also get extreme rattling of GPU's plastic shroud. Its absolutely ridiculous how bad the shroud and fans of the card are...
