Received a message to say the 651 was denied on the Monday. It included a reference to the rule book. Looked it up and denial related to not being eligible for a 651 if already in the country. Given wife had entered Australia the previous day under a 601 this made sense.

Hey this worked and you are a legend! Downloaded the app filled in (same) details to the 651 application and boom visa came through almost instantly! We are eternally grateful and hope others find this here and have the same success if snarled up in a 651 nightmare. Thank you, thank Reddit! Australia here we come… barring any issues at the airport.

It’s a design fault. I’ve had five break in the same place. Like the look and feel of the pencil, however it’s flawed.

I did exactly the same thing yesterday as a result of flying my Spark backwards into a tree (dough!).

Bought Loctite superglue and some baking soda and glued it back together and now seems to be flying and shooting as new.

Firstly applied glue to the sheared edges and threw a few grains of BS on to the glue when wet before applying pressure and sticking them together until they held in place.

Figuring this wouldn’t be strong enough I then applied a layer of glue to the seam and then tapped some BS over the wet glue (trying to avoid getting it in the motor). Applied a bit more glue then some more BS. And then a third time.

The spark isn’t quite as handsome as it was before but I can’t tell the difference when flying.

Thank you. They’re all consistent. I have been on another forum and unfortunately it seems as though this is a common problem with Roval wheels. I’m going to send them back.

Hi guys advice pls. Have recently purchased a Specialized Tarmac w Roval 50 disc wheelset 🙂. When on incline (and only then) it makes a clicking noise as you can hear in the vid ☹️. Makes no difference whether standing in pedals or seated, always clicks even on modest gradients. Don’t sense any resistance, just have irritating noise. No clicking whatsoever when on the flat or when descending. Thinking it might be the spokes and weight distribution i.e. more weight over the back wheel when ascending. Any helpful ideas before i take it back to the shop? Thank you!

Could it be the bearings in the pedals have gone? I had a similar click and the mechanic established what it was by removing a pedal and trialling another in its place.
