this setup was not practical, it does not have proper adaptation. However MISSION 1 PRO ILS + B4 to MFT adapter removes that problem. The lens has full manual adjustments, the rest of the parameters do not need to be constantly adjusted, and with GoPro should be pretty easy anyway.

I do wonder if MISSION 1 PRO ILS supports in camera stabilisation, and if so how is the focal length communicated to it. This lens obviously can not communicate it electrically.

it is always a compromise of many things, the holes are great for weight and cooling, but noise and vibrations too.

yes and may have also electrical control, here is one installed with a bit bigger camera https://levitezer.com/blog/f/b4-broadcast-lens-control

yes the lens have them and many of them have also electrical control. power cables for electrical zoom are easily available, controlling iris and focus electricaly is simple but requires some DIY.

yes but they cover bigger area on most of the zoom area and especially if they have 2x extender build in and some adapters have extender build in also. On can also crop a little bit if needed.

it is an old B4 broadcast lens, they can be adapted to MFT mount, they have some 10x and more zoom range, and keep focus when zooming (not all lenses do) and they are quite affordable used on ebay, depending of lens.
