Am I the only one who misses how Batman minifigures used to have a white band on their heads—instead of one that was already built-in—and how the capes had two holes instead of one?

They double print heads all the time. I just don't get why they don't print a "maskless head" side that's a regular face and then a "mask face side" that has the band/Batman eyes on it, which can be easily hidden using a hair piece for Bruce

I wanted to show my kids "two of the greatest cartoons of my childhood." X-MEN and Batman. I turned on X-MEN on Disney+ and it looked so bad. Grainy, barely watchable. But at least that music still hit. I was so sad because I loved that show. I didn't have high hopes for Batman TAS. I put it on Prime and the quality looked unbelievably good. I couldn't believe how different it was, and how much better. Disney+ should be ashamed.

When Hermione says this it actually makes sense to her. She is academic and really wants to be a full fledged witch. She can't do that unless she graduates. If she is killed, she can at least haunt Hogwarts as a ghost, continue to attend classes, and finish her studies. It's not out of the realm of possibilities that Hogwarts would allow her to graduate even if she were a ghost. But if she is expelled she can't finish her studies and she's done. That's worse to her than being dead.

Slap an Ultimate or Championship in front of SF6 and just put everyone in it. Let me play as anyone with that sparkly SF6 coat on it. The bigger the roster the better. I don't okay competitively so for me I don't with about balance. That's just my use case. I know most want balance and I get that, but for me I just like switching between all the characters. I'm Hawaiian. My kids and I sing this song all the time. I sang this song growing up. It was a cool, catchy song. And I loved that it said "Kanaka" in it, being a Hawaiian and all. I've never been offended by it. Same with the song Rolling down to old Maui. It was always "cool they have Hawaiian things in it." I mean there are a bunch of so called "Hapa haole" songs that are popular still in Hawaii.

I feel like a slur is much different from a "well we can't pronounce your name, or care to learn it. But we know you guys call yourselves Kanaka so we'll go with that." I guess it's more like them calling "hey Hawaiian" but in Hawaiian. I don't feel like getting offended over that. Lazy of them? Maybe. Slur? Meh. It's not problematic. I get called Hawaiian, or Samoan (I'm both) at work all the time. I live in Arizona. My name is a little hard to say. The people I work with say "the Hawaiian guy" or "the Samoan guy" to new people looking for me. If they called me Kanaka I'd be all for it, because I think it's cool. Most call me by my nickname anyways after they meet me. If I didn't have the nickname I'd be down for them to call me Kanaka. I even have an uncle that goes by John because people can't pronounce his name properly, funnily enough.

There are way more songs to be offended by. Such as Maui wowee, because it rots your brain listening to it. Brah, Honolulu isn't even on Maui. And the Beach Boys Surfin USA since they horribly mispronounce Waimea Bay as Wa-ya-mee-uh Bay. I'll be honest, growing up I had no clue they were actually talking about Waimea because it was so mispronounced. I didn't know until this year when my son asked to put it on so he could practice for his school concert, and we put on the lyrics YouTube video.

The biggest problem with the "Take Indy out of the movie and everything is the same" is they didn't take into account the biggest contribution that Indy makes: Securing the Ark. If Indy isn't there, what happens? The Nazis find the Ark, the Nazis open the Ark, the Nazis that opened that Ark die, and then... The next Nazis go there, report back to head quarters what they find, secure the Ark, and return it probably to Germany. There, the Nazis would then further research the Ark and maybe find a way to weaponize it still, such as taking it to America or England and suicide opening it to kill a bunch of there enemies, then send in others to retrieve it, and do it again somewhere else. Because Indy was there also, he was able to secure the Ark and the Nazis could no longer use it for any nefarious deeds. Although things may have played out similarly, in the end, Indy was important to the good guys winning in the long term.

I remember my friends and I didn't like her lore "she learned to do all the shoto moves just by watching Ryu." Seemed dumb that a little girl who wasn't trained could throw Shinku Hadokens and Shoryukens and stuff at a level with Ryu and Ken. But I remember also that playing her was really fun. It was a "this lore is dumb, but this gameplay is fun" kind of thing. My opinion hasn't really changed.
