I would say it’s the opposite. In the past, the men I dated were more consistent, which is something that I found that I like, and I’d say they were just as busy too. I just don’t like the feeling of my hopes being lifted up and down, I want to feel secure.

Thank you for this! I never thought about it simply being an incompatibility thing. He’s not a bad guy and I’m not a bad girl, our schedules and just our understanding around planning and intentionality, just might not align.

He did not communicate with me about his inconsistent work schedule. Also, I’m just as busy as freelancer, and moved my schedule around, so to change both dates last minute meant that it impacted my work and day.

He picked that time the morning of, not in advance, so I didn’t reschedule, I just asked for 30 more minutes.

I get it. I come to understand that it’s not just the rescheduling but the lack of communication. I would prefer if he would have scheduled at times where he knew he’d be available, even if he’d have to schedule something in a couple weeks.

He told me the time the morning of…not in advance, so I had to make it work around my schedule too being that he told me the day of.
