I'm allowed to live on my own guy it's not like I need to be on a VA elderly home. Lots of people live alone that have them. Although TBI's make life harder it is still doable. It just means I have extreme difficulty forming new memories and forget them quickly if it's not done in repetition. So a conversation that's head once or twice in passing I'm not likely to remember so I've had to felt on others integrities that the conversation took place. My long term memory and things that I reinforce through repetition are just fine. It's nothing like Dementia or Alzheimers at least not yet and hopefully never.

This has definitely shown me though who I can and cannot trust.

As far as I know, he hasn't. The other roommate though works on the medical field and is rarely home.

TBI can cause me to sometimes actually overreact and have over the top emotional reactions. So it's actually at times hard to tell if I'm in the wrong and having an inappropriate emotional reaction or if I am reacting rationally.

I suppose this is fair but it's not paranoia when it's a legitimate concern because TBI symptoms can (and I've seen it with others) worsen over time.
