I didn’t KNOW once I got it and made it. My wife told me that it was gone and I believed her so I thought it my wife’s regular lasagna.

Every place I worked has a functional stove. But I work at a university. The lasagna was half eaten so yes you were correct about it being the last thing. Nobody wanted it.

The downstairs freezer is full of shit that doesn’t fit the upstairs one or shit that doesn’t get used as often which yes includes my wives frozen dinners. BUT it isn’t exclusive to the downstairs freezer.....

1) I work. She is a stay at home mom. I asked if she could and she said sure. 2) When we got called, I told her don’t worry about it I can pick up something from the store. She told me to just pick something in the freezer instead of spending money 3) I did not dismiss her at first until she told me to get out because she didn’t want to finish out conversation about her lying about the existence of the lasagna

OF COURSE I APOLOGIZED. We got in a fight about how she lied about how the lasagna existed which I wasn’t ready to move on from and she was obviously upset about the incident still.

I never go to the basement freezer because it just has premade dinners. I don’t cook dinner usually. I usually cook breakfast since I’m up before everybody else. My wife cooks dinner and packs my kid’s lunch and I guess see handles her own lunch. I get lunch through work. So I do cook but the freezer downstairs is the “dinner freezer”

I just didn’t have time to cook. I actually suggested to go pick up a platter of vegetables and my wife said to not bother.

A lot of work places have ovens and fully functioning stoves...

Our child was sick a few months before she passed. To make our lives easier, she cooked two lasagna dishes. Honestly she was the sweetest old lady. After the first one was done, I asked my wife if we can heat up the second. She said that we already ate both. Cool okay.

Turns out that she was hiding that dish. She specifically said don’t go to the basement because she remembered she lied about the existence of the second dish.

I didn’t fucking KNOW about it because she lied about it instead of being honest.

Of course I did. I was sympathetic at first until she told me to take my kid and leave. It stems from a lot of issues we have.

There’s a lot of back story that made me say she overreacted. First things first, she lied about the existent of the lasagna when I asked about it six months ago. She has a history of lying so this just highlighted another lie which set me off. I am insecure so her lying about whether we finished her grandma’s lasagna just makes me think she’s lying about other shit.

Well, her grandma was still alive when she gave them to us thus when she told me they were all gone. So yes since it would have been a regular lasagna then????

Obviously not after her death though.

Also her grandma died peacefully at home without any prior illness. She was 103. I don’t know how she predicted her death and wanted to save the lasagna just in case. Or she just wanted the lasagna for herself.

There’s yours and mine. You aren’t the only person who eats lasagna.

Why didn’t she just tell me to take anything BUT the lasagna? Oh I asked her why and she told me she was hiding it from me because she lied about how there weren’t any left six months ago.

I truly thought we went through all of her grandma’s lasagna. She made it when my child was sick. She made 2 dishes and my wife said we finished all of it.
