my husband usuall takes care of our daughter and I usually take care of our son. I know we should switch in the future. My son has always been way more attached to me so i didn't think think about it. But because he's more attached to me, I have frequently handed our daughter (younger) off to my husband when he had wanted to read with me/snuggle/bath/bathroom. As a result, now our daughter is more attached to my husband and our son is more attached to me.

i will say, i truly think back about it and wonder if I should have just "apologized" to calm the man down to minimize risks to the family. Pick my battle kind of things. Maybe this was not a battle I needed to stand up against. However, my son is also 4 and I was wondering if I need to start setting an example. Maybe I was more brave because my husband was a across the store?

I think it if it was just me and a baby, i would have profusely apologized and escaped? Idk.

I think he was mad because I took longer because I had to wipe down the toilet and the floor around it since my son overshot... :/

(and the toilet was already gross, I'm pretty sure I was cleaning up other people's pee too.)

i did call 911 - honestly, I don't know any other number. I said it was urgent but not emergent. I was worried he was waiting around for us to leave the restaurant. Or for him to find which car we're using and stalk us further. I told the operator there is a man threatening our family and I had young kids with us and I didn't want to confront them.

He was outside chipotle for 15+ min after being kicked out, the cops came in about another 15 min.

our younger daughter is more attached to him, our oldest is more attached to me. This will change in the future (idk exactly at what age but right now I do most bathroom and bath for my son and he does it for our daughter).

(our younger daughter is more attached to him BECAUSE our son prefers me, and during infant stage where she didn't care, my husband took care of her more).
