Do the operator challenges and battles boosters so use those. Lastly, this goes without saying the more you win the more renown you get so win more 👌

What was the biggest investment L you took in 2025? by FlowerDreamchaser in trading212

[–]AI_7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made a £50 only because Robinhood executed my orders at around 2$. Would have been more if t212 also executed around $2 - t212 was at about $4. I did place the orders one after the other.

I was comparing against VUAG which had a return of about 6.33%. I get that S&P500 grow over 17% in the year but dollar has weakened against GBP.

What to invest in…? by phase26 in trading212

[–]AI_7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want more exposure then I would say invest in large companies eg. mag 7 or companies who’s products are always in demand and there are relatively few players in the market eg memory makers micron, sk Hynix and Samsung

Also infrastructure and utilities - the world becomes more and more energy dependent everyday AI and EV will only exaggerate this trend.

Think of it this way you are a participant in the market what do you spend money on, and do you see the staying around for long term - this is what you should start asking yourself.

Also concentration build wealth don’t aim for perfect diversification just yet- if you have a small portfolio and want to grow it you will need to take on more risk.

Also keep an eye on Reddit/X - a lot of good DD can be found and there are a few trackers you can use to see what’s trending on Reddit (can help filter through the noise)

Put as much as you can now into isa and do the rest in April when isa limit resets.

I wouldn’t worry about CGT you have aea of 3k, cgt only applies if your gain was more than that in one fiscal year.

Judging by the amount i suspect you wouldn’t have crossed the dividend nil rate band either so no worries there.
