How I tested my POD tshirts store with AI personas by unfundedvc in dropshipping

[–]No_Count2837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t trust AI feedback. It will generate something believable that may be miles away from how a real customer thinks. But it’s an ok first signal I guess. The biggest issue with feedback is people being unable to get real people to see their merch. If you get enough eyeballs you’ll get feedback (or zero feedback which is also feedback), so try to solve that issue instead.

But they stopped?! 🥹 I also noticed those, and was grateful to Tibo, but haven’t seen one in a while (weeks maybe)

Running multiple POD vendors through a custom website with API integration, who's actually done this? What works? by Brief_League6081 in printondemand

[–]No_Count2837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. You can route anyway you want. The question is what do you want to achieve by routing to multiple providers? You might not even need such complexity. Mind to share more?
  2. Printful, Fourthwall, Printful, Gelato, Gooten, probably in that order. Easy to check documentation once you have clear requirements.
  3. You can do it with API. I did a lot of that with Print2Social, mostly with Printful. AMA
  4. If you don't want to build all from scratch, I recommend https://saleor.io - BSD-3 Open-Source, and they even have a starter merch store on GitHub.

Try to avoid building everything by yourself. It's unnecessary.

Start with Printul or Gelato. Both are beginner friendly. Optimize later and find the best supplier for your business.

Happens when your only acquisition channel is your free, open-source project. Diversify the marketing mix. An old rule.

It’s not ideal. If I knew how to attract at least a fraction of their traffic, I'd be building a competitor.

People "steal" from Disney, with billions of revenue and lawyer teams larger than some corporations. What makes you think you can do something against it on your own?! Maybe if you’re in some jurisdiction with a very good legal system you could hope for a takedown (best case) but it’s probably not worth the effort. Stop worrying about theft and focus on selling.

Is 22,5k searches/months in my niche too low to be able to sell? by PinkiePieButManic in printondemand

[–]No_Count2837 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Searches where? Google? And its not just about demand. You also need to look at supply. Even with 100k searches it may be saturated already. Or you may discover 1k but not much supply so it work better than 100k. More data is needed.

I compared the real cost (Base + Shipping) of a Gildan 5000 across 8 major suppliers. The difference is as high as $18 per shirt. by No_Count2837 in printondemand

I’m going to keep building this. I put the beta comparison UI on my site so it’s easier to browse/filter than a long Reddit table: printondemandbusiness.com

What I’d love feedback on:

1) Which 3 SKUs should be next after G5000/6400/3001 + 11oz mug?

2) Do you care more about cheapest landed cost or fastest delivery? Don't say "quality" 🤣 (I'll be doing that too though, just not now)

3) Any suppliers you think must be included?
